Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue

Personnel responded to two calls for medical assistance.

The Dalles City Police

Police responded to the 1100 block of Emerson Street Thursday morning after a resident reported someone had given them a baby deer. The deer was taken to Home at Last to await the arrival of wildlife personnel.

Police took a report of theft in the 3200 block of West 7th Street Thursday morning after someone reported their GPS was stolen out of their car during the night.

Police took a report of theft in the 1100 block of Bridge Street after someone reported their GPS was stolen from their car during the night.

Police took a report of trespassing from the 500 block of Garrison Street after someone reported a woman had been sneaking onto their deck to steal cigarettes.

Police responded to the 400 block of Cherry Heights Road late Thursday afternoon on a report that a transient male came into the business and started yelling that he was going to blow it up. The suspect left before officers arrived.

Police responded to the 600 block of East Scenic Drive after a female called to report her husband was threatening her. The altercation was determined to be verbal only and subjects were counseled.

Police responded to the 1200 block of West 12th Street after a caller used a pay phone to call 911 and threatened to blow something up and kill himself. He was taken to the hospital on a voluntary police hold.

Police were flagged down by a man who said he did not remember where he lived. After driving to various locations the man was able to identify where he lived.

Wasco County Sheriff

Deputies responded to the 2000 block of State Road after a caller advised there was a vehicle upside down on the side of the road. Miguel Garcia Rodriguez, 41, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants, careless driving and failure to perform the duties of a driver.

Regional Jail

Shawn Robin Atkins, 51, no listed address, was arrested Thursday on one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Nicole Leann Helling, 22, White City, was arrested Thursday on one count of unlawful possession of heroin.

Randall Lance Mosqueda, 45, Lone Pine, was arrested Thursday on charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft, failure to appear and five counts of second degree failure to appear.
