Jimmy Lee Cain, 20, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 3300 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, second-degree criminal mischief, interference with a police officer, third-degree escape, and probation violation.

A second-degree burglary report was taken Tuesday morning from the 700 block of Snipes Street after a victim reported someone entered his shop and rummaged through it.

A dog bite report was taken Tuesday morning from the 900 block of Chenowith Loop Road.

Wyatt Allen New, 21, 2700 West 7th St. No. 60, was arrested Tuesday morning in circuit court and is accused of contempt of court and probation violation.

A criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning from the 300 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported a male subject and his sister attempted to force their way into their home but were unsuccessful. As they left, the subjects damaged a vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the police station after a victim reported that their vehicle was prowled recently in the 2100 block of Fairview Street and had some items taken. Unknown when the actual crime occurred.

Leroy Charles Shockley Jr., 44, 1106 Emerson St. No. 14, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on River Road and is accused of driving while suspended.

Taylor Nichole Felt, 20, 2011 West 9th St., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West 10th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with a mother and daughter who were involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Neither wished to pursue charges and both were warned of their conduct.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 7th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the male and female involved who advised they were having a verbal dispute and there were no signs of there being a physical altercation.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West 7th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Officers advised they could hear a verbal dispute going on inside the home but it appeared to have toned down. Subjects would not answer the door when officers attempted to make contact.

Wasco County

Amy Kathryn Foster, 31, Hood River, was arrested Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 3800 block of West 10th Street on a circuit court warrant for contempt of court.

A child abuse report was taken Tuesday evening from the hospital after two juvenile children were brought to there to be examined for injuries that occurred while visiting a relative in Idaho. The incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1000 block of Hostetler Way after a victim reported a license plate was stolen from a boat.

Rodney Gene Jones, 37, 1011 Maple St., was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 197 and Bret Clodfelter Way on a circuit court warrant for first-degree failure to appear.

Victoria S. Vazquez, 33, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 3300 block of Bret Clodfelter Way and is accused of failure to register as a sex offender.
