The Dalles City
May 30, 4:52 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 1200 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information, no citations issued.
May 30, 8:22 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, 4100 block of Chenowith Road. Driver information was not available at press time. Driver had a coughing spell, causing him to faint, which caused the bus to hit a tree. One passenger was taken to the hospital. Incident is under investigation.
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
May 30, 6:42 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 6400 block of Cherry Heights Road on a report of a ground cover fire. Upon arrival a small open burn was found that was being attended. The property owner was advised a burn ban was in effect and the fire was extinguished.
Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services.
The Dalles City
An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Thursday morning from the 900 block of Pomona Street after a victim reported two of their vehicles were prowled overnight and had some items taken.
Police responded to the 1200 block of East 12th Street Thursday morning on a report of an assault that occurred earlier. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Thursday morning from the 900 block of Floral Street after a victim reported their vehicle was broken into overnight.
Marciela Raygoza de Rodriguez, 48, 935 Home St., was arrested Thursday morning in the 3300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.
William Luverne Arbuckle, 50, Hood River, was arrested Thursday afternoon at West 7th and Union streets on a Washington state warrant for being a fugitive from the state.
Jessica Marie Hurlbert, 24, 2700 West 7th St. No. 7, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 3300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.
Juan Martin Perez Hammond, 22, 3215 West 7th St. Unit B, was arrested Thursday afternoon at West 7th and Hostetler streets and is accused of three counts of probation violation.
Police responded to the 1700 block of East 10th Street Thursday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the mother and daughter involved who advised the dispute was verbal and physical. Both subjects declined to pursue charges and they were warned of their conduct.
An agency assist report was taken Thursday evening from the 300 block of West 15th Street after police interviewed a suspect on behalf of Vancouver police in regard to an assault case.
A burglary report was taken Thursday morning from Tygh Valley, the incident is under investigation.
A lost property report was taken Thursday afternoon from Interstate 84 west of The Dalles after a motorcyclist advised he lost a saddle bag on his motorcycle.
First-degree burglary and second-degree theft reports were taken Thursday evening from Mosier after a victim reported his home was broken into.
Police responded to Taylor Lake Thursday evening on a report of subjects shooting a BBgun across the lake. Contact was made with male and female subjects who were both highly intoxicated. They were both cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Cory James Widner, 21, Mosier, was arrested early Friday morning during a traffic stop on West 10th and Irvine streets and is accused of driving while suspended.
Oregon State Police
Matthew Edmund Earl Conant, 25, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. D-41, was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 197 at milepost 18 on a Deschutes County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.
A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended during a traffic stop early Friday morning on Interstate 84 at the Rowena exit; the vehicle was impounded.
Sabrina Lee Scott, 26, Salem, was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 115 and is accused of driving while suspended. Ryan Joel Carrerra, 26, Pasco, was also arrested on a Marion County warrant for fourth-degree assault.
Doni Sue Van Dolah, 38, Maupin, was jailed and released Thursday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
Parole and Probation
Kimberly Kay Hawkins, 36, 1219 East 19th St., was arrested Thursday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
