Jacqueline Freeman, a biodynamic beekeeper, farmer and owner of Friendly Haven Rise Farm in Venersborg, Wash., will be presenting a lecture on Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Rockford Grange in Hood River.

The information she shares is practical knowledge about keeping bees, interwoven with honeybee history and with an emphasis on the honeybees’ role in nature.
The purpose of her lecture is to guide people to a more supportive and understanding relationship with honeybees and support the wonderful work they do in the world.
The event is Monday, Nov. 18, at The Rockford Grange, 4250 Barrett Rd, Hood River, at 6 p.m., Cost is $6 or free for Gorge Beekeeper Club members.
