The Dalles

Monday – The Dalles City Council, 5:30 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 313 Court St. Agenda: annual audit, recess to Urban Renewal Agency meeting to hear audit of urban renewal agency; reconvene to city council meeting to hear request by the Dalles Disposal for a rate increase; consider amendment to city land use ordinance related to Passage of House Bill 3479; annual update regarding transportation systems development charge credits.

Wednesday – The Dalles Traffic Safety Commission, 7 a.m., the Dalles Public works Department, 1215 W. 1st St. Agenda: Sonrise Academy school zone/crosswalk request; W. 7th Myrtle to Snipes area speed posting; basketball hoops at West 22nd Street; right turn yield at Second and Hostetler, speed study at 6th and Division, Webber Street water line update.

Wednesday – City of The Dalles Historic Landmarks Commission, 4 p.m., City Hall council chambers, 313 Court St. Agenda: application by United Church of Christ Congregational to replace 25 windows in the historic portion of the structure, built in 1936; Pioneer Cemetery discussion.

Thursday – The Dalles Planning Commission work session, 6 p.m., City Hal council chambers, 313 Court St. Agenda: residential infill policies.

Wasco County

Monday — Wasco County Fair Board, 7 p.m., Wasco County Fairgrounds & Hunt Park in Tygh Valley. Agenda: business dealing with Hunt Park and the fair.

Friday – Wasco County commission, 2 p.m., room 302, Wasco County Courthouse, 511 Washington St., The Dalles. Agenda: grant appropriations.


Wednesday – Columbia Gorge Education Service District, 7 p.m., Sunshine Kids Preschool classroom, 1717 W. 10th St., The Dalles. Agenda: transfer of Rainy Day funds to Sunshine Kids preschool fund; review of technology services; policy for evaluating school staff members.


Wednesday — Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation District, 6:15 p.m., parks office, 414 Washington St. The Dalles. Agenda: bond update, consulting with Mark Seder, current pool management.


Monday – Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue, 5:30 p.m., MCFR station, 1400 W. 8th St., The Dalles. Agenda: contract to provide fire protection services to the Celilo Indian Village; executive session to discuss labor negotiations.

Tuesday – Mid-Columbia Economic Development District loan administration board, 8 a.m., 515 E. 2nd St., The Dalles. Agenda: loan proposal from Northwest Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, LLC; loan modification requests from Baseline Brewery LLC dba Solera Brewing, Van Kessel, Inc., dba Crown Prints; Pioneer Pizza, LLC; executive session to consider requests; back into open session to make decisions.
