Beef industry tour Dec. 10
Nutrition and Health Management for Cow-Calf Operations is the theme of the 2013 Beef Industry Tour, coming to The Dalles Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Shilo Inn.
Agenda items will include:
• basic concepts on cattle nutrition and health management,
• energy and protein supplementation for cow-calf systems,
• feeding fat for optimal health, production and reproduction in cattle,
• Nutrition and forage management for optimal cattle production,
• Mineral supplementation to enhance beef cattle performance and health.
