Accidents

The Dalles City

November 22, 10:15 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash East 2nd and Court streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Fire

November 22, 7:22 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 900 block of Irvine Street on a report of a burn complaint. Resident was burning before hours and was also burning materials that aren’t allowed to be burned. Subject was counseled on the burning regulations.

November 22, 8:11 a.m. – Personnel responded to River Road on a report of smoke coming from a ditch. Investigation discovered that running water from a culvert in the area was steaming, no problem found.

November 22, 12:21 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 800 block of East 2nd Street on a report of a structure fire. While en-route police advised that there was no house fire and there was no problem; units returned to quarters.

November 22, 8:11 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 500 block of East 10th Street on a report of a vehicle fire. Vehicle was located and the fire was extinguished.

November 23, 9:29 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1600 block of East 9th Street on a report of smoke in the area. Several blocks were checked in the immediate area and nothing abnormal was found.

November 23, 7:18 p.m. – Personnel responded to the westbound Memaloose rest area on a report of a motor home fire. Upon arrival the vehicle was fully involved. Occupants stopped to get some rest and woke up to someone knocking on their door saying their home was on fire. The vehicle was extinguished and the fire may have started near the furnace area. The occupants were not harmed.

Personnel also responded to ten calls for emergency medical services on Friday, nine on Saturday, six on Sunday and three on Monday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 900 block of East 7th Street Friday morning on a report of a suspicious subject. Caller reported she observed a suspect get into her husband’s vehicle while it was warming up. Subject was contacted by the husband and told to leave the area. The incident was logged.

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 9th Street Friday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. Husband and wife were arguing over the husband seeking medical treatment at the hospital. While the husband was getting ready he hit his wife in the face with his shoe in front of the officer. He was cited and released for harassment.

A second-degree criminal mischief report was taken Friday morning from the 1900 block of West 13th Street after a victim reported someone keyed their vehicle.

Police responded to the high school Friday morning after staff advised a male student made threats toward them. Suspect was told to leave but refused to do so. Suspect did leave prior to officer arrival and will be trespassed from the school.

Otto Brandon Paulette, 38, 422½ West 14th St. was arrested Friday morning in the 300 block of West 3rd Street and is accused of probation violation.

Terry Robert William Morrison, 47, 2007 View Ct. was arrested Friday afternoon at East 11th and Kelly streets and is accused of parole violation.

Walter Steve Cloud, 49, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 on a Klickitat County warrant for being a fugitive from Washington.

Police responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Friday afternoon on a report of a female shoplifter in custody. Suspect was cited and released for third-degree theft; she was also trespassed from the property.

Dorothy Mae Yahtin, 46, Yakima, Wash., was arrested Friday afternoon in the 3200 block of Brett Clodfelter Way on a Jefferson County warrant.

Kerry Alan Pohrman, 44, 1624 East 14th St., was arrested Friday evening in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Andraya Jewell Woodruff, 23, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. D12, was arrested Friday evening in the 800 block of Richland Court and is accused of probation violation.

Ulisese Junior Fanene, 25, 311 East 13th St. was arrested early Saturday morning in the 200 block of East 3rd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

An agency assist report was taken early Saturday morning from the hospital after an officer seized some evidence from a patient who was involved in an accident in Gilliam County.

A runaway report was taken Saturday morning from the 300 block of West 8th Street. Juvenile returned later in the day and was removed from the system.

A found property report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 1500 block of East 12th Street after a resident found a bike abandoned on their property. The bike was seized and placed in impound.

Kody Mitchell Eastman, 19, 310 East 12th St. was arrested Saturday evening at East 10th and Washington streets and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Sunday morning from the 200 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported a windshield was broken.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning at the high school after staff advised some glass was broken out of the gym doors and some damage done to the men’s restroom inside.

A theft of services report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 3200 block of Brett Clodfelter Way after an employee advised a male subject left the hotel without paying for his room.

Brian Michael Edley, 30, no listed address, was arrested Sunday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 300 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported their windshield was broken over the weekend.

Police responded to the animal shelter Sunday afternoon after an employee advised a puppy was abandoned; a report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Elisa May Sanducci, 29, no listed address was arrested Sunday evening in the 1700 block of West 6th Street on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear. She is also accused of theft of services, harassment, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

A found property report was taken early Monday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after a bicycle was found in the area; it was taken to impound.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon in the 1300 block of West 6th Street after an employee advised someone stole some wooden pallets from behind the store.

Steven Robert Kiser, 33, 2021 East 10th St. was arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 2000 block of East 10th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and hit and run.

A third-degree theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1300 block of West 6th Street after an employee spotted a male suspect shoplifting a camera. Suspect fled the area prior to law enforcement arriving. The incident is under investigation.

Wasco County

Victoria Whitefoot, 20, Wapato, Wash., was arrested Friday evening in the 100 block of Ward Rd. and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

A male subject was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana Friday evening at the Rowena lookout.

Maria Dolores Knapp, 51, 1408 East 14th St. was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop at East 1st and Court streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Oregon State Police

A male passenger was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Friday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 77.

Shaune Earl Meilike, 29, Coquille, was arrested Saturday evening in Tygh Valley on a Florence municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

Mark Arnold Callison, 30, White Salmon; was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop at West 6th and Webber streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Jose Luis Rodriguez Sandoval, 18, Hermiston, was arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 101 and is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine, attempted unlawful delivery of cocaine, and being a fugitive of INS.

Gilliam County

Kyle Reed Crawford, 28, Wilsonville; was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 19 southbound, milepost 39 and is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine.

Regional Jail

Jerome Arthur Soikowsky, 39, Olympia, Wash., was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Emily Keagan Smith, 24, no listed address; was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Adrian Leon Hert, 20, White Swan, Wash., was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for three counts of wildlife offenses and carrying a concealed weapon.

Clyde Joseph Alcala, 21, White Swan, Wash., was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Daryl Guy Pamperien, 55, Maupin, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving while suspended.
