Fire

October 8, 1:06 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1900 block of East 19th Street on a report of a fire alarm. Nothing was showing upon arrival. There was no visible smoke or odor of smoking while investigating the building. No problem was found.

October 8, 2:45 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 900 block of Chenowith Loop Road on a report of a chimney fire. CThe chimney was checked and everything appeared to be fine.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Tuesday morning from the 600 block of East 2nd Street after an employee advised someone broke into a work vehicle and stole some items.

Wade Roger Cates, 21, 3012 West 10th St., was arrested Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

A runaway report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 2100 block of West 9th Street.

Randolph Stuart Chase, 45, 800 East 13th St., was arrested Tuesday evening in his home on a Klickitat County warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Washington.

Police responded to the 600 block of West 12th Street early Wednesday morning after a homeowner advised someone forcefully opened her backdoor overnight and unlocked all her windows.

Wasco County

nlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken Tuesday morning from Mosier after a victim reported his vehicle was broken into and some items were stolen.

Oregon State Police

A male suspect was cited and released for shooting at a deer from a vehicle Tuesday morning on Forest Service Road 4891.

Two subjects were cited and released for criminal mischief Tuesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 73, after someone reported them for spray painting the bathroom at the rest area.

Daniel Munoz Pedraza, 18, 900 Vey Way No. 304, was arrested Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Regional Jail

Christopher Zoey Schwarzbach, 19, 907 Pomona St., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Keith Richard Nims, 44, Portland, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

Joshua Paul Hasty, 29, Portland, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Dagan J. Putrzenski, 21, Oregon City, was transported by Clackamas County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Tyrone David Roberts, 44, Portland, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for first-degree theft.

Parole and Probation

Kevin Cameron Walker, 41, 2120 West 9th Pl. was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Daniel Lee Jackson, 63, 1416 East 10th St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
