Accidents

Wasco County

October 12, 2:52 a.m. – Single vehicle versus deer, non-injury accident, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85. Driver information was not made available. Driver struck a deer in the road. A report was taken.

October 12, 4:52 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Husky Road in Mosier. Driver information was not made available. Vehicle rolled over and was partially blocking the road. Driver was cited for no operator’s license, driving uninsured and careless driving. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

October 11, 7:32 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Proctor Road in Mosier. Dana Rae Tickner, 21, Mosier was the involved driver. Tickner was driving eastbound and swerved to avoid hitting a rock in the roadway losing control of the vehicle which went off in the ditch. Driver was seen by medics for a knee injury sustained during the crash but was released at the scene. A report was taken.

Fire

October 12, 7:32 p.m. – Personnel responded to West 6th and Chenowith Loop streets on a report of a utility trailer full of firewood on fire. Nothing visible upon arrival. A subject was pulling charred pieces of firewood off the trailer and he had put the fire out. A heavy smell of gas was coming from the trailer. The wood was washed down with a large amount of water to get rid of the gas.

Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services on Friday, four on Saturday, four on Sunday and six on Monday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A third-degree theft report was taken Friday morning from the 1700 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported some yard ornaments were taken from their property.

A theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 3500 block of 6th Street after an employee advised some rented property has not been returned.

Police responded to the 3300 block of Columbia View Drive Friday evening after an employee advised a resident had inappropriately touched a minor family member. The subject was cited and released for harassment.

A restraining order violation report was taken Friday evening from the 2000 block of East Scenic Drive after a victim reported having several phone messages left on his phone from a female suspect who he has a restraining order against. The incident is under investigation.

Luis Armando Leon Jr., 35, 2700 West 7th St. No. 61, was arrested early Saturday morning in the 2700 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from the 200 block of East 3rd Street after an employee reported two male suspects fled without paying for their tab.

An agency assist report was taken Saturday evening from West 6th and Chenowith Loop streets after someone used accelerant to start a fire on a utility trailer full of firewood.

Jacinta Siatigi, 37, 308 East 12th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Police responded to the 700 block of East 12th Street Sunday morning on a report of a theft. Victim reported three juvenile subjects threw rocks at him which caused him to fall then stole his medical marijuana. The incident is under investigation.

An agency assist report was taken Sunday afternoon from the hospital after a victim came in with a dog bite that occurred in Hood River County. The report will be forwarded to the Hood River Sheriff’s Office.

Terry Robert William Morrison, 46, 2007 View Ct., was arrested Sunday afternoon at East 5th and Union streets on a State Parole board warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 2700 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone broke into her home and took some items.

A death investigation report was taken Sunday evening from the 2200 block of West 10th Street after a family called in to report they had not heard from their mother in several days. Police were able to gain entry into the home and found the subject deceased from natural causes.

Ethan John William Stephens, 22, no listed address, was arrested early Monday morning during a traffic stop in the 2700 block of East 2nd Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

A second-degree burglary report was taken Monday morning from the 1100 block of West 9th Street after an employee advised someone entered the building overnight and stole some items.

Police responded to the high school Monday morning after administrative staff found a bag of marijuana on the property. The bag was confiscated and the contents destroyed.

An abandoned vehicle report was taken Monday morning from the 400 block of West 9th Street; the vehicle was impounded.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the police station after a victim came in to report a license plate was stolen off his vehicle. Victim was not sure where or when this occurred.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Monday afternoon after an employee advised a male suspect fled the store without paying for alcohol. Suspect was located at his home in the 4400 block of Chenowith Road and cited for third-degree theft; he was also trespassed from the store.

Police responded to the In-Lieu site Monday evening on a report of a possible suicide attempt. Contact was made with the female victim to acknowledge taking a large dose of pills in an attempt to take her life. She was taken to the hospital by medics for evaluation.

Dacia Lynn Magill, 25, Goldendale, was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 2800 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Wasco County

Michael Eugene Wallis, 56, Brightwood, was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on Forest Service road 48 and is accused of felon in possession of a weapon.

Jose Chamu Arevalo, 28, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. D-34, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Browns Creek Road and Country Way and is accused of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of recklessly endangering, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and being a fugitive of ICE.

Nicholas Coxen Braun, 32, Bend, was arrested in Maupin Saturday evening on a Linn County warrant for probation violation.

A theft report was taken early Sunday morning from Mosier after a victim reported someone stole her utility trailer.

Kimberly Faye Hawkins, 36, 1300 East 14th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

Deputy responded to the 5900 block of Cherry Heights Road Sunday afternoon after a landlord advised his tenant slapped him in the face several times and pushed him down during an altercation. A report was taken and is under investigation.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Monday morning from the 2600 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported her home was broken into overnight and had some items taken.

A second-degree burglary report was taken Monday afternoon from the 4700 block of Lockwood Avenue after a victim reported a tool box was taken from his shed on the property.

Deputy attempted to stop a male subject on a bicycle Monday evening in the 1900 block of West 6th Street. Brief contact was made as the suspect stopped but then he fled again and was not located. A report was taken and is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

A female driver was cited and released for driving uninsured during a traffic stop Saturday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 80; the vehicle was impounded.

Daniel Aaron North, 37, Sacremento, Calif., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 97 at milepost 22 and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana. Tabitha Lou Mobbs, 35, Sacramento Calif., was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Karl Evan Schwartz, 23, Portland, was arrested Monday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 109 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Michael Shane Sherman, 22, Pendleton, was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 79 and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful delivery of marijuana, and being a fugitive from another state. He is also accused of driving uninsured and the vehicle was impounded.

Dewitt Scott Greenfield, 55, no listed address, was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop on East 2nd and Madison streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and possession of a prohibited firearm.

Sherman County

Tyler J. Rohde, 22, Madras, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 97 near milepost 10 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, endangering the welfare of a minor, and altering of the identification of a firearm.

Gilliam County

Jack Dale Castator, 29, Boardman, was arrested Friday afternoon in Condon on a Umatilla County warrant for probation violation.

Regional Jail

Bryan Vernon Creasey, 39, Portland, was jailed Sunday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Niki Lynn Seaton, 38, Wallula, Wash., was jailed Monday on a Sherman County court commitment for probation violation.

Scott William Peters, 43, 110 West 8th St., was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for recklessly endangering.

Adam William Ihrig, 26, 716 East 12th St., was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, and recklessly endangering.

Parole and Probation

Ryan Gail Mulvaney, 24, 931 Verdant St., was arrested Monday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
