Bra contest benefits Pink Project

Bra contest benefits Pink Project

Entrants have until Friday, Oct. 25, to submit their decorated bras for the Pink Project bra contest. Winners will be announced at Clock Tower Ales after the Pink Project Walk, which gathers at 9:45 a.m. at Third and Lincoln streets in the public parking lot.

The contest benefits the Pink Project, which assembles “We Care” packages to help women understand they are not alone in their battle with cancer. Organizers Doreen and Bob Koch are both cancer survivors and say they have gained an understanding of the emotional challenges involved.

The entry bras are usually modeled by prominent men in the community at the awards announcement event.

Decorated bra entries may be dropped off during business hours at Lines of Designs, 110 E. Second St.
