The Dalles City

October 23, 5:26 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, East 8th and Court streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information. No report taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue

October 23, 10:18 a.m. – Personnel responded to the middle school on a report of a fire alarm. Nothing was showing upon arrival. Contact was made with the principal who advised the alarm company was doing testing on the system but neglected to notify staff they were doing so. The alarm sounded and the occupants evacuated and when apparatus showed up they called 911. No problem was found.

October 23, 3:51 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1500 block of H Street on a burn complaint. A permitted burn pile was found with an occupant standing by with all the necessary tools and a water source, no problem was found.

October 23, 6:08 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1100 block of Murray Drive on a burn complaint. A permitted burn pile was found with an occupant standing by with all the necessary tools and a water source, no problem was found.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A burglary report was taken Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of East 11th Street after a victim reported someone entered their home and took some items.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning from the 2200 block of West 6th Street.

Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft reports were taken Wednesday morning from the 3100 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported a work vehicle was broken into and had some items missing.

John Dean Patton, 34, 1916 East 9th St. was arrested Wednesday morning in the 1700 block of East 10th Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft reports were taken Wednesday morning from the 3300 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone broke into his vehicle and took some items including his medication.

A found property report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 1200 block of East 9th Street after a caller found a bike on their property. The bike was impounded.

Anthony Derrell Black, 26, 1515 East 14th St., was arrested Wednesday evening in the 700 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

William Simmie Davis, 40, 847 Richland Ct. was arrested Wednesday evening at Cherry Heights and Mt. Hood streets on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear. He is also accused of interference with a police officer.

A theft report was taken Wednesday evening from the 700 block of Court Street after a victim reported a wallet stolen.

A burglary report was taken Wednesday evening from the 2800 block of West 7th Street.

Marilyn Florence Omnik, 23, White Salmon, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop in the 500 block of Lone Pine Drive on a Hood River County warrant for probation violation and failure to appear. She is also accused of providing false information to a police officer.

Wasco County

A restraining order violation report was taken Wednesday morning in the 1700 block of East 10th Street.

Brendon Levi Mackey, 19, 1100 East 9th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop on Chenowith and Sevenmile Hill roads and is accused of criminal nonsupport, three counts of unlawful delivery of marijuana, three counts of recklessly endangering, and first-degree criminal mistreatment. Kaysha May Glenn, 20, 3640 West 13th St. No. 1 was also arrested and is accused of endangering the welfare of a minor, recklessly endangering, and criminal nonsupport.

An agency assist report was taken Wednesday evening from the 500 block of Lone Pine Drive after assisting city police with a traffic stop where they detained a passenger for a warrant.

Regional Jail

Jacob Allen Bright, 35, Madras, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a Sherman County warrant for two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Christopher Allen Schmidt, 25, Wood Village, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for three counts of first-degree failure to appear and being a fugitive from another state.

Michael Aaron Roberts, 35, 300 West 14th St., was transported by Multnomah County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Dennis Clayton Bradley, 55, 2700 West 7th St. No. 4, turned himself in at the jail Wednesday on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.
