To the editor:
So many end-time events are taking place today, even the nonbelievers realize catastrophe is just around the corner. End time doesn’t mean the end of the world, but rather the end of the age of man’s control. This has to happen before the second coming of Jesus.
God’s word says “as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man.”
Today we rejoice greatly over sodomy having priority over God’s will; we have outlawed prayer in Jesus’ name by our military chaplains; we can’t teach creationism in schools; Germany outlawed home schools because the government doesn’t have control of what is taught.
There is a movement under way to remove God from our pledge of allegiance. At the same time, we have to make room on college campuses for Muslim teaching and Allah. Our lack of teaching of godly ways by parents has resulted in kids killing kids and teachers.
The God of creation is cast out. Creationism cannot be taught. 2 Timothy 3 tells us what it will be like in the last days. Men will be lovers of their own selves, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness (go to church – be religious), but deny the power of God, etc. Verse 13 says lawlessness will abound and the love of many will grow cold. Does that sound like today?
We ask, what is next? Probably World War III. (The Bible calls it the sixth trumpet.) One third of the world’s population will be destroyed. Talk about tribulation. World War II and the Jewish issue will seem small. After that, there will be one world government, probably communist, for a short time. Then the great battle of Armageddon and the second coming of Jesus, who will be crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
In that time will also be the first resurrection and rapture. So get your heart right with God. Let Jesus reign supreme in your life. Be ready.
This is not doctrine, but end time prophecy being fulfilled in our day. We will all answer to Jesus at the great white throne of judgment, including Gary Fischer and the writer of “No Devil.”
