Accidents

October 29, 11:16 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, West 6th and Hostetler streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

October 29, 12:18 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 1700 block of West 10th Street. Officer assisted with information exchange.

Fire

October 29, 8:07 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1000 block of West 9th Street on a report of a fire alarm. Contact was made with a manager of a group home who said they burned some bacon which set off the smoke detector. No fire or problem was found.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A first-degree theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 3100 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported tires were stolen from his vehicle.

Weston Ray Tappendorf, 26, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree theft.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Tuesday evening from the 2700 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported a male suspect continued to text her after being told not to.

Tyler James Burris, 21, 1114 Trevitt St., was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 900 block of West 6th Street and is accused of probation violation, interference with a police officer and second-degree criminal mischief.

Wasco County

James Monroe Dickens, 56, 4405 Highway 30 No. 406, was arrested Tuesday morning in his home and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Oregon State Police

A female driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Tuesday morning on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 107. The vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Taylor Douglas Hall, 23, Kennewick, Wash., was transported and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Richard Neal Credille, 27, 604 West 12th St., was transported by Klickitat County and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Robert William Whitbeck, 51, Vancouver, Wash., was transported by Clark County and jailed after being arrested on Gilliam County warrant for second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and parole violation.

Elizabeth Carol Miller, 40, Warm Springs, was transported by Jefferson County after being arrested with a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Parole and Probation

Justin Wayne Martin, 23, 511 Liberty St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
