Wasco County

Aug. 30, 9:01 p.m. – Rollover accident, Highway 197, milepost 3. The vehicle was completely off the road on its top.

The Dalles City

A woman in the 2700 block of West Seventh Street reported her bike stolen Friday morning.

A rabid raccoon was found underneath the county’s handicap ramp Friday morning and city officers dispatched it with a .22.

A parks district worker found a bike on the Riverfront Trail Friday morning.

A man in the 2200 block of East 12th Street reported Friday afternoon someone stole his cell phone last week and he has a suspect.

A man wanted in connection to a theft at Safeway fled from his vehicle Friday afternoon as it was pulled over by police. After a short foot pursuit, he was arrested and jailed at the regional jail. Tyler Burris, 20, 108 W. 9th St., was arrested and charged with two counts of probation violation and interfering with a peace officer.

Amanda Michelle Worley, 18, 3817 W. 10th No. 25, was arrested Friday morning and jailed for second-degree theft.

Christopher Ian Armour, 19, general delivery, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 2200 block of East 12th Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

A man called police Friday afternoon to say another man was dancing in the street and waving one finger. Police contacted two men and warned them about disorderly conduct.

A man witnessed another man steal a bike Friday evening in the 1200 block of West Sixth Street.

A woman in the 1500 block of East 18th Street reported Friday evening her debit card was fraudulently used to buy $626 in items.

A man in the 2900 block of West Sixth Street told police Friday evening that he was arrested the previous night and when he was taken to jail, his wallet was stolen by friends.

A man reported Friday night a drunk man was yelling in the outdoor seating area in the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street. Police could not find the drunk man.

A man punched a glass bottle and cut his hand at a business in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Friday night. He was trespassed from the business.

Robert Adin Chase Jr., 47, 1015 Garrison, was arrested in the 1000 block of Garrison on a warrant for failure to appear.

A man in the 2500 block of West Eighth Street reported Saturday afternoon his vehicle was entered sometime in the last week and numerous items stolen.

A man reported watching another man break a window to enter a house in the area of West Ninth and Trevitt streets Saturday afternoon. Police contacted the man, who was intoxicated, and denied entering the house. A roommate said the person broke in to retrieve his phone. Owner of house could not be reached.

Sharon Marie Goudy, 51, 820 E. Scenic Dr., was arrested Saturday evening at the corner of East 11th and Jefferson streets on a warrant for probation violation.

A woman brought a friend to the hospital Saturday evening, fearing she was the victim of possible sex abuse after hearing her friend accidentally dial her on the phone and heard the friend telling a man “no” and to get off her.

Duane Christianson, 52, 1105 E. 12th St. was arrested on a charge of harassment Saturday evening in the 800 block of East 13th Street.

Michael Shinnick, 42, general delivery, The Dalles, was arrested for second-degree criminal trespassing Saturday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street.

A man reported seeing three teenagers on top of a vehicle driving by the 3200 block of West Second Street late Saturday. Police could not locate it.

Stanley Clinton Dawkins, 44, Oregon City, was arrested early Saturday morning in a parking lot on West Second Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A woman in the 800 block of Home Court reported Sunday morning a man was yelling and attacking her daughter, grabbing her by the throat. She doesn’t know who the man is, but said he was going after the neighbor’s dog and then attacked her daughter when she confronted him. The man left toward Ninth Street.

A dog lunged at a guest at a hotel in the 2500 block of West Sixth Street Sunday evening. The dog belonged to another hotel guest. The man who was bitten had bite and claw marks on his abdomen, and hurt his hip when he fell from being lunged at. The man declined medical help.

A man went to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the foot Sunday evening in the 1000 block of Pomona Street while cleaning his .22 rifle.

A man reported an intoxicated man fell a couple of times while crossing the street at West Sixth and Cherry Heights. Police warned the man about walking in the street.

James Allen Younger, 32, general delivery, The Dalles, was arrested Monday evening for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft.

A man reported his brand new BMX bike was stolen Monday evening from outside a friend’s house in the 900 block of West 10th Street.

A city officer radioed dispatch Monday evening that a juvenile male just ran into his vehicle on a bicycle in the 300 block of West Sixth Street. The youth was not injured, and there was a scratch to the car.

Amber Marjorie Lagroone, 36, 2700 W. 7th St. No. 25, was arrested early Tuesday morning and lodged at the regional jail on a charge of second-degree theft. Police had been called to her residence on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Wasco County

A woman in the 3700 block of West Seventh Street reported Friday morning the theft overnight of three laptops, three cameras, cell phone, wallet and other items.

A camper found a purse at Rock Creek Campground Friday evening and deputies took it for safekeeping.

A man driving on forest Road 48 said he saw a person in an oncoming car purposely jerk the steering wheel Friday evening, causing the vehicle to go off the road. Then, the two men in the car were seen fighting. They had been fighting prior to the car going off the road. Deputies could not find the vehicle.

A woman reported Sunday morning her ex-husband is holding her and her two kids against their will in the Mt. Hood National Forest. She got an ATV to work and left. A deputy took her and her two boys to Maupin with all their belongings, where a man was coming to pick them up.

A man on South County Road reported Sunday morning someone stole two knives, a machete and a .38 special handgun from his garage.
