Accidents

The Dalles City

Sept. 4, 1:18 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 3300 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information between the drivers, no report or citations issued.

Sept. 4, 6:52 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 700 block of Ash Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information between drivers, no report or citations issued.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

Sept. 4, 10:44 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a report of a cardboard fire. While en-route a grass fire was also reported in the area. Upon arrival several employees were found who had just put the fire out using cardboard and a fire extinguisher. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Personnel also responded to three calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

A stolen vehicle report was taken Wednesday morning from the 900 block of West 6th Street.

Jamie Ann Pyatt, 31, 3012 West 10th St. No. 1, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 1200 block of West 6th Street on a Multnomah County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Tyler James Burris, 21, 1114 Trevitt St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the 800 block of Garden Court on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation. He is also accused of resisting arrest and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

A second-degree criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 2800 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported her television was vandalized.

A dog bite report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 300 block of West 16th Street after a report came in that a child walking home from school was bit by a dog in the area.

Kevin Benjamin John Wilson, 18, 938 Irvine St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the police station and is accused of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Ricky Joe Judd, 54, Pasco, Wash., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the rail road yard and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass. He was also arrested on a Salem municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

A second-degree theft report was taken Wednesday evening from the 700 block of Court Street after a victim reported his longboard was stolen.

William Luverne Arbuckle, 50, Hood River, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of reckless burning.

Randy Hugh Gross, 64, Otis, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on West 8th and Cherry Heights and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Lorena Viveros Cruz, 20, 519 West 17th St., was arrested early Thursday morning in the 2500 block of West 8th Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the regional jail Wednesday afternoon on a report of an inmate who had been assaulted by another inmate. An assault report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Deputy responded to the community corrections office Wednesday afternoon after a probation officer reported a client had failed to register as a sex offender. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

Gilbert Pual Smartlowit, 42, Toppenish, Wash., was arrested Wednesday evening at Giles French park on a Sherman County warrant for providing false information to a police officer and a Umatilla County warrant for failure to appear.

Ramon Murillo, 26, 1044 Home St., was arrested early Thursday morning during a traffic stop at West 6th and Pomona and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Parole and Probation

Tara Louis Cloud, 32, no listed address, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

John Michael Black, 58, 4405 Highway 30 No. 406, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
