The Dalles City

Sept. 11, 4:11 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 300 block of East 2nd Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information between drivers, no report or citations issued.


Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

Sept. 11, 9:09 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 800 block of West 12th Street on a report of a dumpster fire. The fire was put out by bystanders prior to their arrival and they mopped it up. Cause of the fire was most likely combustible materials inside.

Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 1000 block of East 14th Street Wednesday morning on a report of an attempted suicide. Contact was made with the victim who advised he was intoxicated and accidentally fell down 20 stairs. Officers met with his fiancé who believes he fell down the stairs intentionally to harm himself. He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Fernanado Cervantes Castellanos, 55, 1009 Snipes St., was arrested Wednesday morning in his home on a Hood River County warrant for unlawful delivery of cocaine, unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and being a fugitive of ICE.

Ethan John William Stephens, 22, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday morning at West 9th and Irvine streets on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Dennis Clayton Bradley, 55, 3817 West 10th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of Hostetler Way on a circuit court warrant for four counts of first-degree failure to appear and two counts of failure to appear.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Wednesday afternoon on a report of a female juvenile in custody for shoplifting. Suspect was arrested for third-degree theft and lodged at the juvenile facility.

A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 1500 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported their cell phone was stolen.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 300 block of East 11th Street.

A found property report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1000 block of Lone Pine Drive after two computers were left in a bathroom. Investigation discovered the items were related to a sheriff’s office theft case.

Police responded to the 1700 block of West 10th Street Wednesday evening after a father reported two juvenile boys attempted to sexually assault his juvenile daughter. The incident is under investigation.

Wasco County

Miro Omika Osterhaus, 39, Portland, was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 197 near milepost 9 on a Clackamas County warrant for unlawful possession and delivery of marijuana.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound near the Memaloose rest area; the vehicle was impounded.

Gilliam County

Jack Dale Castator, 29, Arlington, was arrested Wednesday morning in his home and is accused of fourth-degree assault and harassment.

Parole and Probation

Bridger James Leigh Grannis, 23, 2700 West 7th St. No. 57, was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
