Marriage course offered

— The Marriage Course will be offered to couples in the Mid-Columbia this fall.

The course is more than instructional, it is an opportunity to focus on each as a couple in a date-like setting. The course was developed and is presented by the British couple, Nicky and Sila Lee..

It is intended for couples at any phase of marriage and also for couples in second marriages.

The course alternates between a video presentation and one-on-one discussions between partners.

The course is formatted as a guided date that includes dessert and a private table for two. The seven-week course will be at The Riverenza, adding to the sense that couples are enjoying a night out. It will meet Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning Oct. 2.

Space is limited, so couples need to register to reserve a spot, and pay the $75 fee for course costs. Childcare can be arranged free of charge when couples register. Children will be cared for at Gateway Presbyterian on 10th and Dry Hollow.

Couples can reserve a spot or ask questions about the course by calling Gary Casady at 541-993-4279.
