Sept. 19, 9:34 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 and Highway 30. Officer assisted with the exchange of information between drivers, no report or citations issued.

Sept. 19, 12:07 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 3rd and Federal streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information between drivers, no report or citations issued.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

Sept. 19, 12:24 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 400 block of East 8th Street on a report of a smoke alarm activation. While en-route units were cancelled as staff advised the alarm was accidentally triggered by a janitor and there was no problem.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Thursday morning from the 1700 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported someone stole a guitar from his collection.

A third-degree theft report was taken Thursday morning from the 500 block of West 6th Street.

Martin Troy Casey, 47, no listed address, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 1700 block of East 10th Street and is accused of probation violation, two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle, and reckless driving.

An informational report was taken Thursday afternoon from The Dalles Wahtonka high school after a counselor reported a student was making threats to other students.

Andrew Lawrence Malcolm, 29, 1408 ½ East 10th Pl., was arrested Thursday evening in his home and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Regional Jail

William Lawrence Kopp, 36, Tygh Valley, was jailed Thursday on a circuit court commitment for reckless driving, contempt of court and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Parole and Probation

Benjamin James Slusher, 28, 206 West 10th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of probation violation.
