The Dalles

Thursday – The Dalles Planning Commission, 6 p.m., city hall council chambers, 313 Court St. Agenda: legislative hearing for requested amendments to the Land Use and Development Ordinance as they pertain to the provisions of House Bill 3479, limiting certain requirements the city can make as part of a minor partition.

Wasco County

Tuesday – Wasco County-The Dalles Museum Commission, 7 p.m., Fort Dalles Museum, corner of 15th and Garrison streets, The Dalles. Agenda: miscellaneous items pertaining to operation of Fort Dalles Museum and Anderson House and Barn Complex.

Wednesday – Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District, 1 p.m., USDA Service Center Conference room, 2325 River Rd., The Dalles. Agenda: cost share applications; conservation farmer of the year selection.

Thursday – Wasco County Veterans’ Services advisory committee, 3 p.m., basement meeting room, Wasco County Courthouse, 511 Washington St., The Dalles. Agenda: Klickitat County update; update on veterans’ home and veterans’ clinic signs; Sanctuary update; disabled housing information; VA mental health summit meeting.


Tuesday – City of Mosier personnel committee meeting, 4 p.m., 606 third Ave., Mosier. Agenda: discuss resumes for maintenance person position; schedule interviews.

Sherman County

Monday — The Sherman County Court will meet in special session with Gilliam and Wheeler County Courts, 10 a.m., Steve Burnet Extension & Research Center, Moro. Agenda: Early Learning Hub plans; Frontier TeleNet/Regional 911 updates.

Tuesday – Mid-Columbia Economic Development Distriuct loan administration board, 8 a.m., 515 E. Second St., The Dalles. Agenda: loan modification requests (Pheasant Valley Vineyard & Winery, Romul’s West), executive session to review exempt documents, loan actions, other new business.

Tuesday – Mid-Columbia Council of Governments board of directors, 5:30 p.m., Northern Wasco County PUD office, 2345 River Rd., The Dalles. Agenda: public hearing on proposed building code fee increase of 40 percent, spread over two years.

Wednesday – Sherman County Court, 9 a.m., Sherman County Courthouse, Moro. Agenda: 9 a.m., technology audit; 10 a.m., emergency services quarterly report; 10:15 a.m., district attorney quarterly report; 10:30 a.m., sheriff’s department quarterly report, surplus 2010 patrol car; supplemental funding for correctional services between State of Oregon and Sherman County; boiler maintenance proposal; notice to vacate, Mid-Columbia Center for Living/Senior Center.

Wednesday – MCEDD executive committee, 4 p.m., 515 E. Second St., The Dalles. Agenda: finance report, updated RLF plans memorandum, executive director report, project update: LTPT, other new business.
