April 1, 7:07 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1500 block of H Street on a report of a structure fire. Investigation discovered it was an open burn pile in which the property owner was burning within the burning regulations, no problem was found.

April 1, 9:26 a.m. – Personnel responded to West 10th and Walnut streets on a report of a structure fire with heavy smoke. Investigation discovered the smoke was coming from an open burn pile in which the property owner was burning within the burning regulation, no problem was found.

April 1, 10:17 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 800 block of Snipes Street on a report of a smoke investigation. Investigation discovered the smoke was coming from an open burn pile in which the property owner was burning within the burning regulations, no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to nine calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A lost property report was taken Tuesday morning during traffic stop at West 7th and Snipes streets after a victim reported losing his wallet over the weekend somewhere in The Dalles.

A second-degree theft report was taken Tuesday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported he is missing some money he had stored in his room.

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 400 block of Washington Street.

Dennis Wayne Jussila, 21, Goldendale, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 500 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, two counts of manufacturing a controlled substance, and being a fugitive from another state.

A second-degree theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon at a location undisclosed by the department after a caller reported seeing a male suspect steal a speaker.

A 33-year-old Condon male was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree theft.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Tuesday afternoon at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported her vehicle was broke into.

Police responded to East 14th and H streets Tuesday evening after fireworks were shot off in the area. Police checked the area but no one was found.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Tuesday evening after a caller heard a subject fall and start moaning. A report was taken.

Wasco County

A criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a front window was shot out overnight.

An identity theft report was taken Tuesday morning at a location undisclosed by the department.

A 39-year-old Goldendale female was arrested Tuesday evening in the 500 block of Washington Street on a circuit court warrant for four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for providing false information to a police officer and speeding during a traffic stop Tuesday morning on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 104.

Regional Jail

A 33-year-old Lewiston, New York male was transported by the department of corrections and jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for parole violation.

Christopher Allen Kelley, 53, Portland, was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree theft and abuse of a memorial to the dead.

A 35-year-old Gresham male was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

A 26-year-old Wood Village male was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Jesse Ray Still, 19, The Dalles, was transported by Yakima County and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for three counts of first-degree failure to appear.

A 20-year-old The Dalles male was transported by Klamath County and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for four counts of probation violation.
