Arts and entertainment calendar from April 3

‘BLACK COMEDY” heads into its final weekend of dinner theater performances at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. Friday and Saturday evening dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., with performances beginning at 7:30. An April 6 matinee without meal will begin at 2 p.m. Struggling artist Brindlsey Miller and his fiance Carol are having a party with the aim of impressing Carol’s bombastic father, Colonel Melkett, and millionaire George Bamberger, who may buy some of Brindsley’s sculptures. Before the guests arrive, the main fuse blows, plunging the flat into darkness. Only the audience can see what is happening. Cast members pictured include, from left, Kyle Alexander (Harold Gorringe), Galin McMahon (Miller) and Ashley Lauterbach (Clea).
