This cartoon is very misleading.
The SCOTUS left in place contributions to any single candidate.
What was changed was removing a limit on how much an
individual could contribute to multiple candidates in total.
This allows an individual to support multiple candidates,
thus protecting their First Amendment rights to free speech.
This is a correct decision by the Court.
