Wasco County

April 2, 4:29 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 2900 block of East 2nd Street. Deputy assisted with the exchange of information.

April 2, 6:21 p.m. – Personnel responded to Interstate 84 westbound, near milepost 76 on a report of a semi-truck on fire. While enroute to the scene state police advised there was no fire and that units could disregard.

Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

Aaron Leroy Schindler, 42, 1700 East 9th St. No. 15, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East 7th Street and is accused of parole violation.

Elizabeth Virginia Labonte, 23, 2308 E. 12th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office on a circuit court warrant for second-degree criminal mischief and probation violation.

Police responded to the high school Wednesday afternoon after staff reported a student picked up a phone line and a male caller began asking explicit questions to the juvenile female. An informational report and the incident is under investeigation.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday afternoon at an undisclosed location by the department.

Wesley Lee Martens, 29, 315 West 6th St. No. 4, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon in the 2500 block of West 8th Street after a mother reported the child’s bicycle was stolen.

Carol Lee Grant, 57, 1119 Murray Dr., was arrested Wednesday evening in the 300 block of Lincoln Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday evening from East 2nd and Washington streets.

Douglas Eugene Brown, 44, 700 East 17th Pl., was arrested early Thursday morning in the 900 block of West 6th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines. He was also arrested on a circuit court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Oregon State Police

Wesley Brian Olson, 23, North Branch, Minn., was arrested Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Highway 97 southbound, milepost 17 and is accused of two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of a money laundering instrument, and unlawful possession of ecstasy.

Sherman County

Burdette Melvin Hughes, 62, Moro, was arrested Wednesday evening in Grass Valley on a Sherman County warrant for contempt of court.

Regional Jail

Justin James Kinder, 37, 2700 West 7th St. No. 60, was transported by Klickitat County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation and two counts of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Bridger James Leigh, Grannis, 24, no listed address, was transported by Lane County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Christopher Allen Schmidt, 26, Portland, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Ashley Nicole Alldredge, 23, Colville, Wash., was transported by Klickitat County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Zackery Raymond Crause, 35, 1009 East 15th St., was jailed Wednesday on a circuit court commitment for attempted second-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
