Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

April 8, 1:27 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 100 block of West 2nd Street on a report of a natural gas leak. Contact was made with a police officer who advised during a traffic stop there was a heavy smell of natural gas in the area which sounded like it was coming from a venting pipe. The smell had dissipated from the area when the crew arrived. Contact was made with the gas company who advised they’d have someone come check the area.

Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from East 12th and Kelly streets after a victim reported she left her purse at a store in the area and when she retrieved it her cash was missing.

Edward Roy Anderson, 68, 315 West 6th St. No. 3, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in his home and is accused of second-degree private indecency.

Fallon Smith Weber, 30, 3800 West 6th St. No. 7, was arrested Tuesday evening in her home and is accused of two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Treva Jane Meyer, 41, 5495 Dolan Rd., was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop on East Scenic and Jefferson streets and is accused of possession of a controlled substance.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Wednesday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after several juveniles were observed slashing tires on a vehicle. The area was checked but no suspects were located.

Christopher Everett Matney, 32, no listed address, was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of West 10th Street on a circuit court warrant for parole violation and two counts of probation violation. He is also accused of providing false information to a police officer.

James Forrest Nichols, 32, Goldendale, was arrested early Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Highway 197 and Brett Clodfelter Way and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Wasco County

A burglary report was taken Tuesday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported his home was entered and had some items taken from within.

Tyler McLenithan, 21, Tygh Valley, was arrested Tuesday evening in Tygh Valley and is accused of harassment.

Oregon State Police

A hazard tow report was taken Tuesday evening on Highway 197 near milepost 8 after a disabled vehicle had been abandoned and was close to the roadway. The vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Christina Lynn Speck, 22, 1501 East 11th St. Apt. C, was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Kevin Benjamin John Wilson, 18, 938 Irvine St., was transported by Umatilla County Tuesday and jailed after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Rebekah Jo Killian, 31, 2014 West 9th Pl., was transported by Clark County (Washington) and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Ellen Roberta Wood, 43, no listed address, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Jesse Paul Kuhn, 34, Portland, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Parole & Probation

Larry John Barker, 53, 118 West 4th St. No. 29 was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of parole violation.
