To the editor:
We who live in Wasco County benefit from our diversity of business, industry, and agriculture, and we even have the option of choosing a city or rural lifestyle. All this variety means that the projects we advance and the challenges we face are likely to be equally diverse.
So when we vote for county commissioner, we should look for a candidate with a broad range of skills rather than a specialist or a person who focuses on a few issues.
With her experience in both business and agriculture, Bridget Bailey is uniquely qualified to appreciate the differing concerns in our county.
Moreover, her legal experience and persistent attitude suit well for an office that requires sorting through complex statutes and guiding projects over the long haul. I urge you to vote Bridget Bailey for County Commissioner.
