April 12, 6:26 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 500 block of Mt. Hood Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Wasco County

April 11, 12:50 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Upper Mill Creek Road. Driver stated he had issues with his brakes, causing him to slide into a ditch. A report was taken.

April 13, 1:53 p.m. – Single vehicle versus tree, non-injury crash, Mosier. Female driver was cited for careless driving; a report was taken.

Rescue

April 11, 11:48 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 2100 block of West 15th Street on a report of a burn complaint. A residence was found that was burning yard debris. Resident had a burn permit and was following the burn regulations, no problem was found.

April 11, 11:33 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 700 block of Veterans Drive on a report of a fire alarm. While units were enroute, they were advised to disregard by staff and that the alarm malfunctioned; units returned to quarters.

April 12, 11:19 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 3600 block of Mill Creek Road on a report of a large black cloud of smoke in the area. An orchard burn had developed problems. Personnel checked the fire which had spread from the original pile into a pile of tires, causing the black smoke. Four other laborers, each with hoses, had extinguished the spreading fire and contained it to the original pile. The property owner was advised their permit had expired and they needed to renew before burning in the future.

April 13, 4:19 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 2600 block of West 7th Street on a report of a grass fire. Upon arrival, a 20-by-20 natural vegetation fire was observed and was extinguished. Two witnesses observed an elderly male walking through the area of the fire earlier who lit a cigarette and threw down his match in the grass. No source of the fire was observed.

April 14, 2:02 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 4900 block of Chenowith Road on a report of a grass fire. Upon arrival, a 50-by-100 foot area on a steep hill was on fire near the creek. A property owner was attempting to put out the fire with a garden hose. Property owner advised he was looking out his window when he noticed the fire. The fire was extinguished by the crew. The cause of the fire was tracked down to another property owner who had an authorized burn a few days prior. He had taken the ashes, which he said were cool to the touch, and dumped then down the bank. He had a valid permit.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Friday, two on Saturday, four on Sunday and six on Monday.

The Dalles City

A theft of services report was taken Friday morning from the 1700 block of West 6th Street after staff reported a female suspect left the restaurant without paying for food.

Police responded to the 3600 block of West 10th Street Friday afternoon after staff advised a juvenile student was assaulted by two other students earlier in the week and the incident was videotaped. The incident is under investigation.

Chad Edward Jenkins, 18, 514 Brentwood Dr., was arrested in his home Friday afternoon and is accused of third-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Yvette Marie Black, 44, 2232 West 8th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in her home and is accused of third-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a boat motor was stolen from his boat sometime during the week.

Richard Lee David, 44, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening near West 8th and Garrison streets on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Michael Allen Naujoks, 44, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening at a location undisclosed by the department on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

An identity theft report was taken Friday evening at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported there were two pending fraudulent charges on his bank account.

Jose Ernesto Garcia, 39, 4109 Chenowith Rd. Unit B-11, was arrested early Saturday morning at East 1st and Union streets and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and offensive littering.

A found property report was taken Saturday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after a caller found a bike in his yard. The bike was picked up and impounded.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon at the police station after a victim reported his phone was stolen near West 10th and Liberty streets.

A harassment report was taken Saturday evening at a location undisclosed by the department after a caller reported her son’s life was threatened on a social media website.

A runaway report was taken early Sunday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

A theft report was taken Sunday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported her purse and wallet were stolen.

Shelly Marie Mundell, 28, Lyle, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Sunday afternoon after a father called to report his juvenile son was at home and he had a warrant for his arrest. The juvenile was located and arrested on a circuit court juvenile warrant for probation violation. He was lodged at the juvenile detention facility.

David Richard Leigh, 39, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Derek Wayne Winter, 20, Canby, was arrested early Monday morning in the 2800 block of West 7th Street and is accused of possession of a controlled substance.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday morning from East 12th and Quinton streets after a maintenance worker observed graffiti near the baseball field.

An informational report was taken Monday morning at a location undisclosed by the department police responded to that location on a report of a domestic complaint that was physical in front of children. The incident is under investigation.

Juan Armando Miguel Cabrera, 18, 113 Hostetler Way, was arrested Monday afternoon at the police station and is accused of third-degree assault.

An identity theft report was taken Monday afternoon at a location undisclosed by the department.

A search warrant report was taken Monday evening at a location undisclosed by the department.

A second-degree theft report was taken Monday evening from the 500 block of Mt. Hood after an employee reported a male suspect pushed a cart full of groceries out of the store and fled the scene.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Monday evening at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported her vehicle was prowled and had some items missing from within.

Wasco County

An identity theft report was taken Friday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported she attempted to file her taxes but was unable to as someone had already filed under her social security number; the incident is under investigation.

A burglary report was taken Friday morning at a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported someone entered their home and had taken some items.

A death investigation report was taken Saturday afternoon from Pine Hollow.

A runaway report was taken Monday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

An assault report was taken Monday morning from Dufur; the incident is under investigation.

Victor Andres Rosado, 18, 1083 Irvine St. Unit E, was arrested Monday morning in the 500 block of Washington Street on a circuit court warrant for contempt of court.

Oregon State Police

Joshua Christopher Hanson, 35, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 82 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Raeann Raquelle Wilcox, 28, 518 East 7th St. Unit C, was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop at West 2nd and Webber streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Gilliam County

Cleve Barry Liston, 35, Arlington, was arrested Friday on a circuit court warrant for probation violation. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and unlawful possession of oxycodone.

Regional Jail

Tyler Christopher Hoyt, 24, Pasco, Wash., was transported by Franklin County (Wash.) and jailed Monday after being arrested on a Tri-County warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.
