Easter egg hunts

BASKETS IN HAND, Easter egg hunters will be out in full force this Saturday, April 19, for two long-time egg-centered events. The earliest and largest of the two is the Griffith Motors Easter Egg Scramble, set for 11 a.m. at Sorosis Park.

Kids age 10 and younger will hunt in five diffeent age groups. Toddlers 1 to 2 years old will have their own area and may be acccompanied by an adult. The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy will be on hand. 

In the afternoon, Flagstone Senior Living welcomes children agea 1 to 12 for its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. The event will also feature a carrot-carving contest, prizes and free ice cream afterwards. Children should bring their own baskets.
