Accidents

April 16, 5:00 a.m. – Two vehicle, unknown injury crash, West 2nd and Webber streets. Police received a report of a head on collision in the area. A report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

April 15, 1:52 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1600 block of East 12th Street on a report of a fire alarm. While en-route contact was made with the maintenance staff of the building who stated they couldn’t find any issues. Nothing was showing upon arrival and all staff was outside. During a walkthrough of the building a pull station was located that was pulled. It is unknown if it was pulled accidentally or intentionally. The alarm was reset and no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Tuesday morning after a caller reported several juvenile subjects smoking marijuana in front of her house. Contact was made with the kids who were not doing any illegal activity. They were advised to pick up their trash and move along.

Kenneth Alexander Harris, 21, 2011 View Ct., was arrested Tuesday morning at East 9th and Union streets and is accused of third-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning at the police station after a victim came in to report he purchased a boat engine online and has not received the merchandise.

Police responded to the middle school Tuesday morning after administrative staff advised they had three juvenile students in custody for possession of a marijuana pipe on school grounds. A report was taken.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a bad check had been negotiated.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Tuesday evening after a caller reported her vehicle was stolen. Investigation discovered that another registered owner of the vehicle had taken it.

A theft report was taken Tuesday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported she purchased a cell phone from a subject but only the box was given to her.

Jacob L. Cheadle, 18, 923 Irvine St., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 700 block of Snipes Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Wasco County

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported he paid someone to fix his lawn tractor and that subject took the tractor to the scrap yard. The incident is under investigation.

Regional Jail

Jaime Lynn Mulvaney, 25, 1501 East 11th St. Unit B, was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

Mayleen Adilene Ortez, 25, 965 Home Ct., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Robert Grant Kline, 48, Sandy, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Clackamas County where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for two counts of unlawful delivery of marijuana, two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, and two counts of driving while suspended.

Parole & Probation

Albert Chico Cervantes, 25, 1611 H St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.
