Folksinger to perform at HR, TD libraries

Renowned American folksinger and storyteller Adam Miller will perform at public libraries at Hood River and The Dalles on Tuesday, Aug. 12 (Hood River) and Wednesday, Aug. 13 (The Dalles).

Each program will begin at 7 p.m. and all ages are welcome.

One of the premier autoharpists in the world, Miller is an accomplished folklorist, historian and song collector, having a repertoire of over 5,000 songs. He accompanies his baritone voice with finger-picking acoustic guitar and stunning autoharp melodies.

Miller performs nationally and has distinguished himself as one of the great interpreters of American folk tales and folk songs. His performances appeal to all ages.

The program at the Hood River County Library, 502 State Street, will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 12. Miller will appear at The Dalles-Wasco County Library at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
