The Dalles City

August 1, 1:04 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 200 block of Federal Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

August 4, 2:10 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 14th and Oregon streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Wasco County

August 3, 6:52 a.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Forest Service Road 1720. Caller reported a vehicle that had rolled over with no one near the vehicle. The registered owner called to report he swerved to miss a deer and wrecked the vehicle. He also advised he was making arrangements to have vehicle towed. A report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

August 2, 9:37 p.m. – Personnel responded to Taylor Lake after a caller across the river reported seeing what looked like a small fire in the area. No sign of smoke or fire was found on arrival.

August 4, 8:11 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street on a report of a structure fire. While en-route, the sheriff’s office advised this was a burn barrel and not a structure fire. Contact was made with the homeowner who was counseled on the burn ban and the need of a permit to burn.

Personnel also responded to 11 calls for emergency medical services on Friday, eight on Saturday, seven on Sunday and nine on Monday.

The Dalles City

A found property report was taken Friday morning from West 9th and Liberty streets after an abandoned bicycle was found. The bike was taken to impound for safekeeping.

David Edward Cnossen, 35, 919 Pomona St. Unit C, was arrested Friday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a circuit court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and two counts of probation violation.

James Richard Armstrong, 45, Phoenix, Ariz., was arrested Friday morning in the 700 block of Court Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A theft report was taken Friday morning from the 800 block of East 2nd Street.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Friday morning after a caller reported her husband was outside of the home and throwing rocks at the house. Suspect fled prior to officer arrival. An informational report was taken and is under investigation.

Samuel Joseph Casale, 33, 4555 Orchard Rd., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Wesley Herbert Poppen, 33, 409 East 8th St., was arrested Friday evening in his home on a Klickitat County warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Washington.

A lost property report was taken Saturday morning from the 1200 block of West 6th Street. The phone was tracked down to a residence in which the person stated they found the phone on the side of the road. The phone was returned to the owner.

Brian Edward Porter, 31, 910 East 3rd St., was arrested Saturday afternoon in his home and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Perry Edward Johnson, 77, 611 Wasco St., was arrested Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 800 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A lost property report was taken Saturday evening from the 2600 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported losing his wallet.

A second-degree theft report was taken Saturday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a roommate had stolen some of his belongings and fled the home. The incident is under investigation.

Delia Elisabeth Overbo, 37, 1511 East 9th St. Unit A, was arrested Saturday evening in the 800 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Police responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Sunday morning on a report of dogs left in vehicles. Contact was made with the owners who were cited for animal neglect. A report was taken.

A found property report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after a bicycle was found. The bike was impounded.

James Walter Combs II, 54, no listed address, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of five counts of probation violation. Nicholas Michael Lowe, 33, 1300 East 14th St., was also arrested and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

Shana Marie Henry, 34, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening in the 100 block of Union Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Jesus Ramires Sabino, 21, 2700 W. 7th St., was arrested Sunday evening in the 700 block of Snipes Street and is accused of fourth-degree assault, strangulation, second-degree criminal mischief, menacing, and harassment.

Joel Robert Austin, 21, Maupin, was arrested Sunday evening in the 1400 block of West 6th Street and is accused of unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of heroin. Adam Lee Troutner, 26, Tygh Valley, was also arrested and is accused of unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of heroin.

Richard Lee David, 44, no listed address, was arrested early Monday morning at West 6th and Webber streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was also arrested on five counts of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Stephen Ray Worthington, 21, no listed address, was arrested Monday morning in the 700 block of Garrison Street on a Clackamas County warrant for parole violation.

An informational report was taken Monday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a caller reported a neighbor in the area was killing cats, the incident is under investigation.

An assault report was taken Monday morning at the police station after a victim came to report she was involved in a domestic dispute at a location undisclosed by the department. The incident is under investigation.

A burglary report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a business owner advised a building was broken into over the weekend and had some items missing.

A hit and run report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department.

A first-degree criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after an employee reported several new vehicles on the lot had been keyed.

A hit and run report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street.

Timothy Walter Ballow, 45, 2510 W. 2nd St. No. 7, was arrested Monday afternoon in his home and is accused of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief and interference with making a report.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the property after a victim reported a neighbor backed onto his property damaging a vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

A violation of a restraining order report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a male suspect contacted her which violates the no contact court order. The incident is undisclosed by the department.

A runaway report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the department, the family called later in the evening and advised the juvenile had returned home.

Police responded to the hospital Monday evening after staff reported a patient was brought in who was assaulted earlier in the day. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Wasco County

A theft report was taken Sunday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported someone took his employer pay card.

Mackenzie Alaine Cain, 31, Dufur, was arrested Monday morning in the 800 block of East 19th Street and is accused of fourth-degree assault.

A dog bit report was taken Monday morning in Dufur after a caller reported her granddaughter was bitten by a dog in the area. The dog and its owners were located and the dog was placed under quarantine.

A first-degree criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported some windows were broken on two buildings located on her property.

An informational report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a juvenile caller was left home and a subject was at the front door to the home and the juvenile did not recognize the subject. The area was checked and nothing suspicious was found.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for reckless driving, speeding, false log book, and no commercial driver license during a traffic stop Friday morning on Highway 97 near milepost 53.

Cody Lee Hoover, 23, 4555 Orchard Rd., was arrested early Saturday morning at the hospital and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

Janet L. Perkin-Schertenleib, 54, Redmond, was arrested Sunday evening in Biggs Junction and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Gilliam County

Stacey Lenore Ringler, 41, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon at a location undisclosed by the department and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines. She was also arrested on a warrant out of Texas.

Mark David Borghese, 49, Arlington, was arrested Sunday afternoon in his home and is accused of menacing, telephonic harassment, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Regional Jail

Jerry Leon Davis, 48, Hood River, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Clarissa Beatriz Rodriguez, 28, Rufus, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Luciano Hernandez Cruz, 36, 2016 East 13th St., was jailed Monday on a Hood River circuit court warrant for violation of a release agreement.

Vladimir A. Lebedinski, 34, Spokane, Wash., was booked and released on a circuit court commitment for three counts of misdemeanor wildlife offenses.

William Craig Weis, 56, no listed address, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for second-degree failure to appear.

Jordan Rachelle Dibartolo, 18, Maupin, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for carrying a concealed weapon.
