Sherman County Museum hosts author Kirkpatrick

MORO — The Sherman County Historical Museum hosts a special book signing with Jane Kirkpatrick on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Kirkpatrick has a brand new book coming out later this summer. Organizers are keeping their fingers crossed that it will arrive in time for Jane to sign and sell along with her other books at the Sherman County Historical Museum Store.

Also featured at the book signing will be a fun read called “Ankle High and Knee Deep,” a book of short stories compiled by different woman authors including Jane Kirkpatrick and Sherman County’s Terri Earl.

Museum tours will also be available the day of the event, and the Sherman County Fair will be right up the road, continuing through bull riding and dancing that evening.

The Sherman County Historical Museum is located at 200 Dewey Street in Moro and open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., May through October.
