Bill Sallee on top of field at TD Classic

With defending The Dalles Country Club champion on the sidelines, Bill Sallee proved to be the Sheriff in town with a two-day total of 157 to take hold of the men’s championship title Saturday and Sunday in The Dalles.

On one end, Sallee unseated a title winner, but Phil Foote proved to be too much to contain, as he stroked out a 159 to win his second consecutive TDCC senior crown.

Gary Brigg chalked up a 162 for first place in the gross category, beating Ron Krol, who managed a top notch tally of 167 for second place.

In the net division, Jason Miller was tops on this weekend with his scorecard reading at 137. Charlie Ford came through with a 148 to grab second place.
