February 3, 4:43 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 2nd and Union streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

February 3, 6:13 p.m. – Single vehicle versus parked car, non-injury crash, 800 block of East 2nd Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Wasco County

February 3, 9:13 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 197 at milepost 17. Vehicle had wrecked and blocked traffic on the road. Driver information was not made available. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

February 3, 7:12 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 at milepost 16. Gurpreet Singh Pannu, 25, no listed address; was the involved driver. Pannu lost control of his semi due to the icy road conditions. A report was taken.

Fire

January 31, 7:44 a.m. – Personnel responded to Interstate 84 westbound between Rowena and Memaloose State Park on a report of a vehicle fire. State police advised that they were out with the vehicle and there was no fire. Units cancelled and returned to quarters.

February 2, 9:36 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 5400 block of Chenowith Road on a report of a burn complaint. Caller reported their neighbor was burning garbage and causing a nuisance. Upon arrival a property owner was found standing by a fire of yard debris and was burning within regulations; no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Friday, six on Saturday, four on Sunday and four on Monday.

The Dalles City

A hit and run report was taken Friday morning from the 1700 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported her vehicle was struck overnight.

Police responded to the middle school Friday morning after administrative staff advised they had a student who brought a homemade weapon to school and made threats to other students; the incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 900 block of East 8th Street after a victim reported she had some money stolen from her bank account.

Nicholas James McCall, 20, 1750 West 10th St. No. 14, was arrested Friday afternoon in his home and is accused of hit and run.

William Anthony Henry, 37, 2700 West 7th St. No. 23 was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

A restraining order violation report was taken Friday evening from the 2000 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported a suspect contacted her son, which is a violation; the incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 2700 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported her shed was broken into and had some items missing.

Ryan Scott Collis, 26, 1603 East 9th St. was arrested early Saturday morning in the 1600 block of East 9th Street and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Saturday morning from the 1400 block of East 13th Place after a victim reported someone smeared condiments and peanut butter on her vehicles.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported having their cell phone lost or stolen in the area.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee advised a male suspect fled the store with beer.

A theft report was taken Sunday morning from the 1200 block of East 10th Street after a victim advised a friend of her daughters stayed the night a few days back and stole some items from the home; the incident is under investigation.

Justin Wayne Martin, 23, 1106 Emerson St. No. 14, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 2700 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Police responded to the 500 block of East 10th Street Sunday afternoon after a caller reported seeing an open door in a vacant home. Officer checked the home and found that it appeared someone was staying there. The house was secured and a message was left for the property owner.

A runaway report was taken Monday morning form the 600 block of East 17th Place.

A found property report was taken Monday morning from the 700 block of East 21st Place after a found bicycle was located. The bike was taken to impound and later recovered by the owner.

An animal abandonment report was taken Monday morning from the 2900 block of East 2nd Street after a dog was located in an abandoned trailer.

Jarrod Andrew Wilson, 35, 108 West 7th St., was arrested Monday afternoon at West 7th and Union streets on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Luis Barajas Cardenas, 60, 610 Washington St. No. 17, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 1300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 700 block of Pomona Street after a victim reported he had some items stolen from the locker room; the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West 8th Street Monday evening after a victim reported another female threw a ketchup bottle at her hitting her in the shin causing a large bruise. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Kerry Alan Pohrman, 44, 4405 Highway 30 No. 406, was arrested Monday evening in the 1400 block of F Street and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

Police responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street early Tuesday morning on a report of a male subject cutting himself in an attempt of suicide. Contact was made with the subject who was voluntarily taken to the hospital by medics for an evaluation.

Wasco County

A telephonic harassment report was taken Friday evening from Wamic after a victim reported his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend keeps calling and texting him. The incident is under investigation.

William Lawrence Kopp, 36, Tygh Valley, was arrested Friday evening in his home and is accused of probation violation.

A theft report was taken Saturday morning from the 3800 block of West 8th Street after a victim reported some items were taken from his vehicle overnight.

Penny Kay Byars, 43, Maupin, was arrested Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop at West 6th and Chenowith streets and is accused of invalid use of an operator’s license.

Contact was made with a vehicle early Sunday morning in the 5900 block of Cherry Heights Road. Several subjects inside the vehicle were cited for minor in possession of alcohol and released to parents.

A found property report was taken Sunday afternoon from Celilo Park after a set of keys was found.

Robin Ann Masters, 54, 1705 I St., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop at East 11th and Kelly streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

An assault report was taken Monday evening from the 4100 block of Chenowith Road and the incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended during a traffic stop Friday evening on Interstate 84, milepost 83; the vehicle was towed.

A recovered stolen vehicle report was taken Friday evening from Mosier; the vehicle was stolen out of Sherman County earlier in the month and was found at a residence in Mosier. The incident is under investigation.

A male driver was cited and released for no operator’s license, driving uninsured, failure to register a vehicle, and speeding during a traffic stop Saturday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 91; the vehicle was impounded.

A male driver was cited and released for driving uninsured, failure to maintain lane, and improper left turn Saturday evening on Highway 97 just outside of Biggs.

Gilliam County

Sabrina Sheree Ryan, 36, Hillsboro, was arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 145 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, third-degree theft, and probation violation.

Regional Jail

Kelly Douglas Kramer, 52, Selah, Wash., was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for unlawful taking of an elk.

Aremesha Emily Mackey Jackson, 35, 3415 Columbia View Dr., was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for harassment.

Neil Michael Smail, 26, Hillsboro, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for four counts of first-degree theft and felon in possession of a firearm.

Parole & Probation

David Ray Justice, 31, no listed address, was arrested Monday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
