February 6, 4:07 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, East 11th and H Streets. Driver information was not available. Driver of vehicle drove through stop sign and hit school bus. The driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Oregon State Police

February 6, 11:50 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 81. Tyson Bell, 29, Beaverton, was the involved driver. Bell lost control of his vehicle due to the snowy road conditions and came to rest blocking both lanes. A report was taken.

February 6, 4:34 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 81. Marcela Castro Quintero, 27, Hood River; was the involved driver. Quintero lost control of her vehicle due to the icy road conditions and struck the center barrier. The crash was logged.

February 6, 4:57 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 74. Joseph De Beruff Waite, 34, Portland, was the involved driver. Waite lost control of his vehicle due to the icy road conditions and struck the center barrier. The crash was logged.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue

February 6, 4:16 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1300 block of West 1st Street on a report of a water flow alarm. Contact was made with employees outside the building who advised that the alarm company was there earlier today and was testing the system. Investigation determined the tester forgot to shut a valve down causing the alarm; no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to 13 calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Michael Richard Carillo, 29, 1312 Dry Hollow Rd., was arrested Thursday afternoon in his home and is accused of a felony count of fourth-degree assault.

Police responded to the hospital Thursday afternoon after staff reported a possible sex crime. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Natalie D. Pinheiro, 26, 2700 West 7th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

Wasco County

Mayleen Adilene Ortez-Campos, 25, 965 Home Ct., was arrested Thursday afternoon in circuit court and is accused of first-degree criminal mistreatment, third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, and second-degree child neglect.

Paul Edwin Burke, 54, Tygh Valley, was arrested Thursday evening in his home and is accused of harassment.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and speeding during a traffic stop Thursday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 104.

Cesar Antonio Solano Gonzalez, 30, Parkdale, was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 104 and is accused of providing false information to a police offier, second-degree criminal possession of forgery instruments, and being a fugitive of INS.

A hit and run report was taken Thursday evening on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 76 after a victim reported a van crossed into their lane of travel, struck them and continued going. The incident is under investigation.
