Fire

January 10, 11:08 p.m. – Personnel responded to Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 75 on a report of a diesel spill. A jackknifed semi had punctured a fuel tank which was leaking on the freeway. The tank had leaked 50 to 75 gallons on the road which was cleaned up ODOT and the fire crew.

January 11, 4:30 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1000 block of Bargeway Road on a report of a gas leak. Upon arrival a gas cloud was observed in front of a business with a chlorine or ammonia scent. The area was isolated off until the gas cloud cleared. Contact was made with staff who advised this was the second complaint of the day regarding an odor smell but they did a complete walkthrough and could find no problem.

Personnel also responded to 14 calls for emergency medical services on Monday and nine on Tuesday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A runaway report was taken Monday morning from the 700 block of Pleasant Court.

A hit and run report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1000 block of Roberts Street.

Michael Allen Naujoks, 44, no listed address, was arrested Monday evening in the 2500 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of strangulation and harassment. Brandy May Seavey, 39, 2510 West 2nd St. No. 11 was also arrested and is accused of harassment and contempt of court.

Police responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Street Monday evening on a report of a dispute. Female reported a male subject had urinated in her snow and would not leave. Contact was made with the male who was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Leonard Scott Berry, 54, 931 Verdant St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop on West 8th and Walnut streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and interference with a police officer.

Tyler James Burris, 21, 1114 Trevitt St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon at East 9th and Clark streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, resisting arrest, and three counts of probation violation.

Police responded to the middle school Tuesday evening after a mother reported her juvenile daughter had snow shoved in her face by another juvenile male. Contact was made with the juvenile male who apologized to the victim and the mother for his actions. He was counseled and released to his mother.

A female runaway was located Tuesday evening in the 700 block of Court Street. She was lodged at the juvenile detention facility until her ride could pick her up. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 800 block of East 14th Street Tuesday evening after a caller reported an adult male was assaulting two juvenile males. Investigation discovered this was a snowball fight that got out of hand. Both sides were counseled and apologized to one another.

Police responded to the 400 block of East 7th Street Tuesday evening after a victim reported she had cut herself in an attempt to cause harm. She was voluntarily taken to the hospital.

Wasco County

A hit and run report was taken Tuesday afternoon on Sevenmile High Road after a victim reported their vehicle was parked in the area over the weekend due to the snow and when they came to move it, it was damaged.

Deputy responded to Tygh Valley Tuesday evening after a victim reported seeing tracks to his shed and thinks someone may have taken some items. The incident was logged.

Regional Jail

Lucinda Rose Johnson, 55, Douglas City, Calif., was jailed and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Ryan Wesley Singhurst, 27, 2700 West 7th St. No. 52; was jailed and released Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

Parole & Probation

Preston Leigh Allen, 20, 3564 East 2nd St. No. 28 was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Larry John Barker, 53, 118 West 4th St. No. 29, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.
