Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 500 block of Liberty Street Wednesday morning after a child called to report he found his mom slumped on her bed and not responding. She was taken to the hospital where she later passed away. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street Wednesday morning after a caller reported observing a child crying outside of her apartment. Contact was made with the mother and the children and everything appeared to be okay. An informational report was taken.

Tiffany Maria Barajas, 20, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 2100 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation and a Hood River circuit court warrant for probation violation. She is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

An assault report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 800 block of East 14th Street. The incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after staff reported a driver attempted to drive off from the gas station with the nozzle still in the gas tank. Subject was refusing to give her insurance information. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

William Joseph Flood, 44, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 300 block of West 3rd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after employees advised three juveniles came into the store together and put unpaid items into a backpack of one of the suspects. Contact was made with all three subjects who were trespassed from the store and one was cited for third-degree theft.

A theft report was taken early Thursday morning from the 1300 block of East 15th Street after a victim reported their bicycle was stolen.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken early Thursday morning in the 200 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse.

Wasco County

A stolen vehicle report was taken Wednesday morning after a victim reported their vehicle was stolen overnight.

An informational report was taken Wednesday evening after a foster parent found a nude photo of an adult male on her juvenile foster daughter’s cell phone. The incident is under investigation.

Deputy responded to State and Ridgeview streets Wednesday evening after a caller reported hitting a dog. The dog was removed from the road and the owners were located.

Deputy responded to Mosier Wednesday evening after a caller reported her juvenile daughter assaulted her husband. An informational report was taken and is under investigation.

Gilliam County

Sabrina Patricia Minnick, 23, Irrigon, was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 at exit 147 on a Gilliam County warrant for failure to appear.
