Personnel responded to five calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

A hit and run report was taken Thursday morning from the 400 block of East 7th Street after a victim reported hearing a loud crash overnight and realized in the morning someone had hit her vehicle. Another victim in the area came forward later in the day and their information was added to the report.

A runaway report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 1500 block of East 9th Street.

A criminal mischief report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 900 block of Union Street after a property owner advised some graffiti was found on his property.

A child neglect report was taken Thursday evening from the 500 block of Liberty Street, the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 600 block of West 14th Street Thursday evening after a caller reported observing a group of juvenile subjects playing basketball and drinking alcohol on school property. The caller also observed one of the male subjects urinating in public. Contact was made with the suspects. One was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and released to his mother. Another male subject was arrested and lodged at the juvenile detention facility.

A theft report was taken early Friday morning from the 700 block of Veterans Drive after an employee reported someone got into her wallet and stole some money.

Oregon State Police

Loren Naylor Stevens II, 72, 800 West 13th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 101 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Regional Jail

John Eldon Campbell, 49, Pendleton, was jailed Thursday on a Sherman County court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
