Letter to the Editor: Get involved

— Get involved

To the editor:

Thank you so much for printing the article by Diana West entitled “Impeachment by laws, not men.”

When will everyone wake up to what is happening to our wonderful nation? The news media does not cover much of what this president is doing to destroy our laws. He thinks he has executive power to take out his pen and sign into law, which he does not have the power to do.

Part of the problem is the fact that too many of our younger generations have not studied the Constitution and the history of how we were established. This month we are to honor our great leaders of Lincoln and Washington — this used to be a great celebration — but our schools do honor Martin Luther King.

This president has the health care program that many never read that voted it into law. We are just beginning to find out what is in the fine print of this huge stack. Obama will continue to sign more and more of this with his pen unless our elected officials put a stop to it. So no matter whether you voted him in or not, it is time to take action. Will we allow this to happen that we have a dictator and not a president? Senator Ted Cruz is calling it the imperial presidency.

Our country was founded on Christian leaders and our schools read from the Bible. And now you can’t talk about God or have Bibles in our classrooms. How will our youth learn of our wonderful history? We need more educational programs if we intend to save America.

Watch for the news on an education seminar March 7 and get our youth to hear this.

I also have a book written by Kris Anne Hall called “Liberty: First the path to restoring America.” She travels the country giving constitutional seminars. She will be coming here this summer.

So please get involved with this election. Needed are more precinct representatives to take part and get involved. Don’t just sit back and ignore the destruction of our wonderful heritage.
