February 27, 6:00 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 400 block of Cherry Heights Road. Driver information was not made available. Two vehicles collided while using the center lane in the area. Both drivers expressed pain but refused medical attention. Both vehicles were also towed from the scene. A report was taken.

A found property report was taken Thursday morning at West 13th and Jordan streets after a caller reported digging up a rifle while working in the area.

A found property report was taken Thursday morning in the 700 block of Court Street after a caller reported a bike had been left on the property and had not been retrieved for a few days. The bike was impounded and the owner came to the police station later in the day to pick it up.

An assault report was taken Thursday afternoon from East 10th and Court streets after a victim reported she was hit over the head with something. The incident is under investigation.

Dylan Steven Klaviter, 22, 720 West 17th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon at East 5th and Washington streets and is accused of third-degree theft.

A hit and run report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 500 block of East 3rd Street. The suspect was found later in the day and cited for hit and run.

Michael David Shinnick, 43, no listed address, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 500 block of Cherry Heights Road on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Police responded to the middle school Thursday afternoon after administrative staff reported a student had sold drugs to another student; a report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the skate park Thursday evening after staff advised there were three adult male subjects on the property drinking alcohol. All three subjects were trespassed from the property. Michael Aaron Roberts, 36, no listed address, was arrested during the incident and is accused of parole violation.

Jacob David Wilson, 22, 717 East 18th St., was arrested Thursday evening in the 700 block of East 18th Street after a brief foot pursuit on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Caleb Andrew Massengale, 26, 2700 West 7th St., was arrested Thursday evening in the 700 block of East 17th Street and is accused of frequently a place where controlled substances are abused.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to an unknown area Thursday afternoon on a report of a gunshot. Caller reported hearing a loud bang inside a trailer in the area. Investigation discovered that no shot had actually happened. A subject had struck his elbow against the wall creating a loud bang sound. The subject had been making threats to harm himself and was unloading a gun when he hit the wall. Subject fled the scene prior to deputy arrival. An informational report was taken.

Regional Jail

Scott Anthony Newman, 39, 773 Pleasant Ct., was jailed Thursday on a circuit court commitment for violation of post-prison super vision sanctions.

Daniel Charles Chamberlin, 38, 925 Honey Do St., was jailed Thursday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.
