Accidents

City of The Dalles

January 9, 7:47 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, 3900 block of West 6th Street. Driver information was not available. Driver lost control of the vehicle on the ice taking out a stop sign then going into the ditch. A report was taken but no citations were issued.

January 9, 10:57 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, 2600 block of West 6th Street. Driver crashed his vehicle into a tree in a parking lot, information was exchanged between the business and the driver.

Oregon State Police

January 9, 10:13 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 197 southbound, milepost 6. Madrigal Noe Rodriguez, 43, no listed address, was the involved driver. Rodriguez lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions while negotiating a curve. Both the driver and passenger sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. A report was taken.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

An abandoned vehicle report was taken Thursday morning from the 300 block of East 7th Street after a vehicle was impounded.

An informational report was taken Thursday morning from the 3600 block of West 6th Street after an employee stated a female subject was attempting to use fake currency at the self-checkout but believe this was not intentional. Contact was made with the suspect at her home; the incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 200 block of East 2nd Street after an employee advised some items were missing from an upstairs storage area.

Core Allan Bardes, 44, 506 East 4th St. No. 2, was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 1900 block of West 13th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Thursday afternoon after an employee reported two juvenile subjects had stolen items and fled the store. Suspects were found near the 1200 block of West 6th Street and arrested for third-degree theft; they were lodged at the juvenile facility.

Terry Michael Barker, 56, no listed address, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

A theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 800 block of Court Street after a victim reported a bicycle was stolen.

An informational report was taken Thursday evening from the 2000 block of East 13th Street after police responded to the location on a report of a family disturbance. Father reported his adult son tried to harm him. The subject was counseled for his actions.

Katrina Lou Nagy, 22, 1406 Dry Hollow Rd. was arrested Thursday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, resisting arrest, harassment and possession of a controlled substance.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 3000 block of West 10th Street Thursday morning after a caller reported he was attempting to contact a subject at a residence and could not get an answer. Caller also stated he could see someone lying on the floor in the home. Entry was made into the residence and the subject was found deceased. A report was taken.

Deputy responded to the 4100 block of Chenowith Road Thursday evening after a caller reported two suspicious subjects shined a spotlight into his home. Caller attempted to make contact with the subjects but they fled. Deputy checked the area but no suspects were located.

Sherman County

Richard Leon Schroeder, 30, Wasco, was arrested Thursday evening in his home and is accused of two counts of harassment and parole violation.

Parole & Probation

Ryan Gail Mulvaney, 24, 931 Verdant St., was arrested Thursday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of parole violation.

Andrew Richard Bowman, 34, Dallesport, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of parole violation.
