THE DALLES YOUTH of Heart of Hospice (YoHOH’s) made their annual Christmas outing visiting Hospice patients and were joined again this year by Santa. At the Springs of Mill Creek volunteers visited Hospice patients and got to say hello and thank resident flower club members who arrange flowers for hospice patients each Wednesday. At Columbia Basin they visited Youth of Heart of Hospice Hannah’s great-grandmother Jo Dodson, who was recovering from a horse drawn sleigh accident. While the group was singing for a Hospice patient at Cherry Heights, the staff came in with a platter full of goodies for the YoHOH’s and Santa as a token of appreciation. At Oregon Veterans Home they sang Christmas carols to a patient whose family joined in the singing.
