Accidents

The Dalles City

January 11, 10:08 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, East 4th and Washington streets. Driver information was not made available. Suspect driver was cited for driving uninsured and failure to obey a traffic control device and failing to stop at a stop sign and hitting another driver. A report was taken.

January 11, 2:50 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 2400 block of West 7th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Wasco County

January 11, 4:26 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Chenowith and Browns Creek roads. Driver was driving fast for road conditions and slid off the road. He was counseled on his driving, no citations or report taken.

January 11, 8:41 p.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Mosier. Caller found an abandoned vehicle that had crashed into a tree. The incident is under investigation.

Fire

January 10, 5:33 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 2400 block of East 16th Street on a report of a carbon monoxide alarm. Upon arrival, all occupants were outside and advised their alarm on the upper level of the home sounded and gave a high reading of carbon monoxide. The home was investigated and nothing was found. The alarm was out of date and may have malfunctioned. No problem was found.

January 11, 6:48 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 700 block of East 18th Street on a report of an electrical problem. Occupant of the home advised they heard a loud pop in the attic and could smell something electrical. The attic was checked and the problem was located. The panel was shut down to the home and crews waited until the electric company could come fix the problem.

Personnel also responded to seven calls for emergency medical services on Friday, seven on Saturday, one on Sunday and four on Monday.

The Dalles City

A burglary report was taken Friday morning from the 1200 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported someone broke into his home and stole some items from within.

Preston Leigh Allen, 20, 1116 Shearer St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the 3600 block of East 2nd Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Douglas Joseph Smith, 19, 2103 East 10th St. was arrested in his home Friday afternoon and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.

A restraining order violation report was taken Friday evening from the 800 block of East 3rd Street after a victim reported the suspect came into his place of work during the evening.

Jennifer Joann Kinder, 38, 1511 East 9th St. Unit C, was arrested Friday evening at East 9th and Clark streets and is accused of second-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 1400 block of 14th Street after a victim reported their bicycle was missing.

Janelle A. Baldwin, 26, 1722 East 17th St., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop at West 2nd and Webber streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Alyssa Rianne Adams, 22, 830 Floral Ct., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop in the 300 block of West 10th Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 10th Street early Saturday morning on a report of gun shots. The area was searched but nothing suspicious was found.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from the 700 block of Court Street after an employee reported graffiti on their building.

David Clay Jennings, 42, 906 East 13th St., was arrested Saturday afternoon in his home on a Multnomah County warrant for probation violation.

Ashlee Renae Klaviter, 27, 1519 East 12th St., was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 2400 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 200 block of River Road after an employee reported another employee was stealing from the business, the incident is under investigation.

A found property report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 700 block of West 12th Street after a caller reported a bike was left on her property; the bike was impounded.

A burglary report was taken Saturday evening from the 1700 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported her home being burglarized several times through the week; the incident is under investigation.

Kyle Brian Long, 25, no listed address, was arrested Saturday evening in the 4100 block of Chenowith Road on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Paul Allen Sallee, 52, 1109 Lincoln St., was arrested Sunday morning in his home on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning from the 700 block of Court St. after an employee reported someone damaged the outside of the building; the incident is under investigation.

Zachary Clyde Sampson, 54, no listed address, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear. He is also accused of resisting arrest.

Maria Guadalupe Castillo, 23, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. A12, was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday morning from the 600 block of West 2nd Street after an employee reported graffiti on the property.

Christopher Sean Casteel, 26, 2800 West 7th St. No. 36, was arrested Monday morning in his home on a Tri County warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions. Ambert Renee Whitefoot, 26, 2800 West 7th St. No. 36, was also arrested and is accused of seven counts of criminal nonsupport, seven counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful possession of marijuana. Krystal Rae Sapien, 29, 2800 West 7th St. No. 36, was also arrested and is accused of seven counts of criminal nonsupport, seven counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and unulawful possession of methamphetamines. Leroy Charles Shockley, 45, no listed address, was also arrested on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions. He is also accused of providing false information to a police officer.

A hit and run report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street.

Rodney Ray Van Riper, 46, 604 East Scenic Dr., was arrested Monday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from the 700 block of Court St. after a victim reported their vehicle was damaged in the parking lot.

Dacia Lynn Magill, 26, 847 Richland Ct. was arrested early Tuesday morning at East 13th and Jefferson streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to Maupin Friday evening after a victim called in to report being sexually assaulted. Victim reported that another female acquaintance sexually assaulted her but also mentioned she has been using drugs for the past week and doesn’t remember anything. An informational report was taken and is under investigation.

Michael Lee Ingram, 58, Antelope, was arrested early Sunday morning in Antelope and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A theft report was taken Saturday morning in Mosier after a victim reported a large metal sign was stolen from her property.

A stolen vehicle out of Clark County was located unattended Saturday morning in Dufur after it appeared to have crashed, a report was taken.

Cory James Widner, 22, Mosier, was arrested Saturday evening in his home on a municipal court warrant for second-degree theft. He is also accused of probation violation.

Gregory Edward Milner, 59, 360 Lone Pine Dr. No. 8, was arrested in Dufur Sunday evening and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, resisting arrest, theft of services, and reckless driving.

A burglary report was taken Sunday evening in the 4100 block of Chenowith Road after a victim reported his shed was broken into.

A harassment report was taken Sunday evening from the 3800 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported he was being harassed by a subject out of state whom he met online; the incident is under investigation.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday morning from Wamic after an employee advised that someone attempted to break into the fuel pumps at the shop over the weekend.

A theft report was taken Monday morning from Forest Service Road 1720 after a victim reported someone entered their vehicle and stole some items.

Thomas Ervin Farrell, 53, 950 Pomona St. No. 231, was arrested Monday evening in the 2100 block of West 6th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

An assault report was taken Monday evening in Tygh Valley after a victim advised he was assaulted by an employee of a local business; the incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended during a traffic stop Friday afternoon on Highway 197 and Brett Clodfelter Way; the vehicle was impounded.

Paul Gilbert Banegas, 29, 712 West 18th St., was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop on West 6th and Webber streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Robert Theodore Cheney, 41, Portland, was arrested Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 at milepost 109 on a Columbia County warrant for second-degree failure to appear in court.

A female driver was cited and released for driving uninsured and with expired tags Sunday afternoon on Highway 97 and Gordon Hollow roads; the vehicle was towed.

A male driver was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Sunday evening on Highway 197 near milepost 44.

Sherman County

Keith Albert Gonyier, 19, Sunnyside, Wash., was arrested Sunday morning in Rufus.

He is accused of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, and third-degree criminal mischief.

Lance Nathan Bechtoldt, 21, Spokane, Wash., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 97 at milepost 18 and is accused of unlawful possession and delivery of marijuana.

Gilliam County

Mary Ann Stevens, 41, Vancouver, was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 near LePage park on a Multnomah County warrant for second-degree theft.

Regional Jail

Adam William Ihrig, 26, 716 East 12th St., was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and recklessly endangering.

Britani Leighanne Hammond Ferrer, 21, no listed address was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

David Ray Justice, 31, no listed address, was jailed Monday after turning himself in on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.
