Letter to the Editor: to Jack’s Body Shop

To the editor:

On Dec. 6, I had the bad fortune to wreck my car. I immediately took it to Jack’s Body Shop. They have done work in the past for me and I have always been pleased with their workmanship.

On that day, a lot of people also wrecked their cars. They had nine wrecks in their shop. Vince (owner) told me it would be a while before they could get to mine.

I told him I was in a pickle as I work in Hood River and needed wheels. He told me to hold on for a few days and he would see what he could do.

In a few days he had a car for me to drive. No charge! (I had it for 34 days.) He said to bring it back when we get yours fixed.

Unfortunately, they ended up totaling mine.

My old car had a full tank of gas. They were able to transfer the gas from my wrecked car to my new one.

A big thank you to Jack’s Body Shop and Oregon Trail Insurance. You took the pain out of a bad situation.

Customer service is alive and well at Jack’s and Oregon Trail Insurance.
