Accidents

Wasco County

January 19, 12:53 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Highway 216. Driver information was not available. Driver rolled his vehicle off the road and down an embankment and was transported to the hospital. He was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and released to the staff at the hospital. A report was taken.

Fire

January 18, 3:33 p.m. – Personnel responded to Floral Court on a report of a burn complaint. Caller advised a neighbor was burning wood pallets and being loud as there was a large crowd. Caller also stated this was an ongoing problem. Contact was made with the subjects who were having a warming fire and having a good time. There were 10 subjects standing around the fire and there was a hose present. There was no problem.

Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services on Friday, five on Saturday, seven on Sunday and five on Monday.

The Dalles City

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday morning from the high school after a staff member reported there was graffiti on the property.

Ryan Ortiz, 19, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 2800 block of West 7th Street and is accused of second-degree criminal mischief.

A death investigation report was taken Friday afternoon from the 1800 block of East 10th Street after a caller found a subject deceased in his room, apparently from natural causes.

Ashlee Renae Klaviter, 27, 1519 East 12th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Police responded to the middle school Friday afternoon on a report of a student sexually harassing other students. The juvenile was cited and released to his parents.

A hit and run report was taken Friday afternoon after a victim reported their vehicle was damaged; the exact location of the event is unknown.

A hit and run report was taken Friday evening from the 1100 block of East 9th Street.

Luis Barajas Cardenas, 60, 610 Washington St. No. 17, was arrested Friday evening in the 1300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

Police responded to the 1000 block of West 6th Street Friday evening after a taxi driver called to report their last customer passed off counterfeit currency. The incident is under investigation.

David Michael Foote, 53, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening in the 600 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal mischief.

Matthew Donald Miniaci, 39, 1215 East 12th St., was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop at West 2nd and Union streets and is accused of driving while suspended and a Clatsop County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Benjamin James Slusher, 29, 1021 East 9th St., was arrested early Saturday morning at East 9th and Harris streets and is accused of three counts of probation violation.

A violation of a restraining order report was taken early Saturday morning from the 200 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported a male suspect made contact with her; the incident is under investigation.

Zachary Adam Mendoza, 23, 1201 East 10th St., was arrested early Saturday morning in the 1000 block of East 8th Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order and two counts of probation violation.

Terry Lee Corey, 49, no listed address, was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 700 block of Court Street and is accused of interference with a police officer, second-degree criminal trespass, and harassment.

Robert Joe Young, 39, no listed address, was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 800 block of Cherry Heights Road on a Morrow County warrant for parole violation. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

A second-degree criminal mischief report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 500 block of East 3rd Street after a victim reported a door was damaged to a business.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday evening from the 700 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported someone attempted to set fire inside her vehicle; the incident is under investigation.

Fred James Jurado, 39, 2218 East 13th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 1400 block of East 11th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Sunday morning after someone reported a broken window at Festival Park.

Russell Boyd McCormack, 25, 519 East 12th St., was arrested Sunday morning in the 2400 block of East 11th Street and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Travis Monroe Dodson, 31, 2010 West 8th St., was arrested Sunday morning in his home on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.

A hit and run report was taken Sunday morning from West 7th and Garden streets.

Terrance Garrett McDonald, 54, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening in the 1600 block of Nevada Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

A restraining order violation report was taken Sunday evening from the 2000 block of West Scenic Drive after a victim reported a suspect attempted to contact him through a third party subject; the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the hospital Sunday evening after staff called to report a subject left the emergency room after attempting to admit themselves for taking too much medication. The subject was located and placed in a director’s hold; a report was taken.

Martin Ray Dodson, 54, 2010 West 8th St., was arrested Monday morning in the 1800 block of East 14th Street and is accused of probation violation and violation of a restraining order.

Mayleen Adilene Ortez Campos, 25, 965 Home Ct., was arrested Monday morning in the 500 block of West 17th Street and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Police responded to 1100 block of West 2nd Street Monday morning after a victim reported his bicycle was stolen.

Lorena Viveros Cruz, 20, 519 West 17th St., was arrested Monday morning in her home and is accused of third-degree theft and a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Vernie Lavone Dempsey, 47, no listed address, was arrested Monday morning at West 2nd and Webber streets and is accused of second-degree theft.

Kody Mitchell Eastman, 19, 310 East 12th St., was arrested Monday afternoon in his home on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A burglary report was taken Monday evening from the 600 block of East 18th Street after a victim reported someone broke into their home.

Wasco County

A death investigation report was taken Friday morning from the 1100 block of Sunflower Street.

An assault report was taken Saturday afternoon from Mosier after a victim reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend; the incident is under investigation.

Ken Y. Kausler, 32, Mosier, was arrested Saturday afternoon in his home and is accused of fourth-degree assault, harassment, and menacing.

Kenneth Manuel Barajas, 33, 1119 Murray Dr., was arrested Sunday morning in his home and is accused of third-degree criminal mischief.

Rick Eugene Jones, 56, Mosier, was arrested Sunday afternoon at his home and is accused of driving while suspended.

A harassment report was taken Sunday evening from the 4100 block of Chenowith Road after a victim reported his step father his harassing him and his mother since they separated. The incident is under investigation.

Wesley Leo Mitchell, 19, 917 East 8th St., was arrested Monday evening in the 100 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of third-degree theft and abuse of an American flag.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended Friday afternoon during a traffic stop at West 2nd and Webber streets; the vehicle was impounded.

Michael Floyd Shipley, 38, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 68 and is accused of contempt of court.

Allen Michael Thacker, 33, Myrtle Creek, was arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 97 northbound, milepost 12 on a Myrtle Creek municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A male driver was cited and released for speeding, failure to maintain lane and open container of alcohol during a traffic stop Monday afternoon on Highway 97 near Biggs Junction.

Lacey Marie Nuce, 38, Spokane, 38, Spokane, Wash., was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 97 northbound, milepost 13 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines, unlawful delivery of methamphetamines, and supplying contraband.

Gilliam County

Beau Ryan Gleed, 19, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, milepost 134 and is accused of driving while suspended.

Regional Jail

Larry Alan Marshall, 61, Wamic, was booked and released Friday on a circuit court commitment for hit and run.

Harry Dean Eakin, 74, Grass Valley, was jailed Friday on a Sherman County court commitment for permitting livestock to run at large.

Roy Joseph Camargo, 32, Kennewick, Wash., was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for hit and run.

Kurtis Wayne Dell, 37, Kennewick, Wash., was jailed Friday on a Sherman County court commitment for unlawful delivery of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Parole & Probation

James Foy Routh II, 41, 1521 East 13th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
