Accidents

Wasco County

January 27, 8:14 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Endersby Road in Dufur. Driver information was not available. A caller reported an abandoned vehicle that looked like it had rolled over. Contact was made with the registered owner who stated his wife lost control of the vehicle due to the icy road conditions. The crash was logged.

January 27, 11:41 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 and Tygh Ridge Roads. Driver information was not available. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions and the vehicle and turned onto its side once leaving the roadway. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

January 24, 6:43 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Highway 97 near milepost 23. Crystian Ramirez, 26, Sunnyside, Wash., was the involved driver. Ramirez was traveling and lost control of the vehicle after hitting a patch of ice. He and a passenger were transported to the hospital. A report was taken.

January 25, 4:14 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury accident, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 89. Tracy Leroy Mosely, 51, no listed address and Jenna Lee Wilkins, 35, no listed address were the involved drivers. Wilkins was passing Mosely who was driving a semi when Mosely changed lanes pinning Wilkins’ vehicle into the guardrail and driving several hundred feet with the vehicle still pinned which pushed the center median into the lane of travel on the opposite side of the freeway. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

January 27, 9:44 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 southbound, milepost 6. Richard Allen Crowder, 63, Paradise, Calif., was the involved driver. Crowder lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. The crash was logged.

January 27, 10:54 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 northbound, milepost 32. Joseph Harold Langley, 32, Yakima, Wash., was the involved driver. Langley lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions. The crash was logged.

January 27, 12:18 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97. Mario Lozano, 37, Rock Island, Illinois, was the involved driver. Lozano lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. The crash was logged.

Fire

January 25, 10:57 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 4700 block of Cherry Heights Road on a report of thick smoke south of the view point. Investigation discovered it was an orchard burn in the 4700 block of Cherry Heights with several piles of trimmings burning. There was no problem.

January 25, 2:35 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1400 block of Jordan Street on a report of a large fire near a house. Upon arrival law enforcement was observed extinguishing the fire which started in some hedge brush. Crews mopped up the fire. Resident advised they used a smoke bomb in the bush which caused the fire in an attempt to remove some rodents near his home.

Personnel responded to seven calls for emergency medical services on Friday, eight on Saturday, three on Sunday and four on Monday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A burglary report was taken Friday morning from the 1800 block of East 19th Street after an employee advised someone entered the business overnight and took some items.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 11th Street Friday morning on a report of an abandoned bicycle. The property was seized and impounded and a lost property report was taken.

A lost property report was taken Friday morning from the 1000 block of East 14th Street Friday morning after a victim reported losing a ring round the 1200 block of West 6th Street.

Police responded to the 2600 block of West 6th Street Friday afternoon after an employee reported observing a theft as they were reviewing video footage from the last few days. A theft report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Lucian Hernandez Cruz, 36, 2016 East 13th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the police department and is accused of second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, and harassment.

Police observed a male suspect urinating on the sidewalk early Saturday morning in the 600 block of East 2nd Street; the suspect was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

Police observed a male suspect urinating on a building early Saturday morning in the 200 block of East 3rd Street; the suspect was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

A first-degree burglary report was taken early Saturday morning from the 1400 block of Dry Hollow Road after a victim reported waking up to a suspect in her home attempting to steal some items. The suspect struck the victim once he was found and fled the house. The incident is under investigation.

Robert Andrew Rowan, 29, no listed address, was arrested early Saturday morning in the 1100 block of East 12th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school and probation violation.

A theft report was taken Saturday morning from the 400 block of East 8th Street after a victim reported her cousin stole her phone.

A found property report was taken Saturday morning in the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way after a bicycle was found; the bike was impounded.

Carl Ray Daniel, 28, Goldendale, was arrested Saturday morning at East 3rd and Washington streets on two Washington state warrants for being a fugitive from the state.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 3300 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported that graffiti was applied to their building overnight.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Saturday evening from the 500 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported a male suspect was sending harassing texts after being told to stop texting. The incident is under investigation.

Justin Mychael Horrell, 31, 1609 East 12th St. was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop in at West 6th and Webber streets on a Hood River county warrant for probation violation. He is also accused of parole violation.

Police responded to the 2300 block of East 12th Street Saturday evening on a report of a fight. Caller reported several subjects fighting outside of an apartment complex. Contact was made with the subjects involved who declined to pursue charges. An informational report was taken.

Daniel Valdovinos, 30, 3300 West 7th St., was arrested Sunday morning in his home on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

An identity theft report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 700 block of Veterans Drive after a resident reported to an employee a family member may be stealing their money; the incident is under investigation.

A found property report was taken Sunday evening from the 300 block of East Scenic Drive after a bicycle was found abandoned on a trail in the area; the bike was impounded.

Jesse Ray Still, 19, 1061 Irvine St. Unit C, was arrested Sunday evening in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, second-degree theft and third-degree theft.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Monday morning from the 700 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported some wheels were stolen from his property.

Kimberly Ann Clogston, 52, Lyle, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 3300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of third-degree theft. She was also arrested on a Hood River County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Victor Stephen Campos, 33, 509 East 8th St., was arrested Monday afternoon in his home on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Osvaldo Aguilera Quinonez, 23, 921 Snipes St., was arrested Monday afternoon in his home on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 6th Street Monday afternoon after a caller reported she found some drug paraphernalia in her apartment that belonged to her ex-boyfriend. The evidence was seized and a report was taken.

William Joseph Flood, 44, no listed address, was arrested Monday evening in the 1100 block of Oregon Avenue and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Tina Marie Linville, 34, 3319 West 10th St. No. 11, was arrested Monday evening in the 800 block of Richland Court and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

Wasco County

Ricardo Sanchez, 30, 3817 West 10th St. No. 10, was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 900 block of Chenowith Loop Road and is accused of failure to present and carry an operator’s license.

A child abuse report was taken Saturday morning at the hospital after staff reported a mother who recently gave birth to a child admitted to using drugs while she was pregnant. The incident is under investigation.

Deputy responded to the 5500 block of Highway 30 Saturday afternoon after a caller reported there was an injured deer in their backyard. The deer was dispatched.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Sunday morning from the 1800 block of West 16th Street.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Sunday evening from the 5000 block of Cherry Heights Road after a victim reported someone broke into their home over the weekend.

Oregon State Police

Sylvia Viveros Hidalgo, 57, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 76 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A male driver was cited and released for driving uninsured and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday afternoon on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 94.

Regional Jail

Tyler Jay Ostby, 32, Tualatin, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Donald Charles Marsh, 65, Mosier, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft.

Parole & Probation

Richard Garrett Cobos, 37, 1106 Emerson St. No. 2, was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Luis Armando Leon Jr., 35, 907 Pomona St. Unit A, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
