Accidents

Wasco County

January 29, 7:47 p.m. – Single vehicle versus cow, non-injury accident, 84000 block of Highway 216. Driver information was not available. Driver struck a cow while driving into The Dalles. The owners of the cow were contacted and it was removed from the roadway. A report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue

January 29, 5:46 p.m. – Personnel responded to Mt. Hood and Mill Creek roads on a report of large flames in the area. Caller was driving down Cherry Heights Road and observed large flames but couldn’t tell where they were coming from. No fire or smoke was found upon arrival. The area was investigated and nothing was found.

Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Terrance Garrett McDonald, 54, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 2600 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.

Jordan Charles Bay, 32, 419 West 7th St. Unit B, was arrested Wednesday morning in his home on a circuit court warrant for parole violation. He is also accused of felon in possession of a restricted weapon.

An assault report was taken Wednesday evening in the 600 block of East 11th Street after a mother called to report her son was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The incident is under investigation.

A death investigation report was taken Wednesday evening from the 3300 block of Columbia View Drive; it was determined the person had passed from natural causes.

Police responded to the 1400 block of Dry Hollow Road Wednesday evening after a caller reported a neighbor was playing loud music. Contact was made with the woman who agreed to keep it down.

Wasco County

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning from Wamic after a victim reported someone broke some fence on his property at an unknown time.

Carl James Kevin Minson, 32, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop at West 10th and Irvine streets and is accused of unlawful delivery of methamphetamines within 1000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, four counts of possession of controlled substances, and failure to present and carry an operator’s license. Lisa Lynn Minson, 47, Dallesport, was also arrested and is accused of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Deputy responded to the 1000 block of Irvine Street Wednesday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the subjects who advised the argument was verbal. The male subject was trespassed from the property.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday morning at Biggs Junction.

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 119; the vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Leslie Allen Bursell, 49, 3020 East 10th St., was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation and failure to appear.

Jennifer Lea Jones, 34, 1529 East 12th St., was jailed Wednesday on a Tri County corrections court commit for probation violation.

Taylor Renee Dales, 18, Redmond, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on an Arlington Justice warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Ryan Philip Reta, 30, Bend, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a second-degree failure to appear.

Parole & Probation

Sandra Sindy Campos, 33, Hood River, was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of four counts of probation violation.

James Earl Mulvaney, 20, 1106 Emerson St. No. 3, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of parole violation.
