Shaniko to celebrate sheep

The 8th Annual Shaniko Wool Gathering, Pioneer & Artisan Faire, July 12-13, 2014, celebrates the fiber industry of today and Shaniko’s place as Wool Capital of the World in the early 1900s.

Activities : Shearing, Skirting, Spinning, Weaving, Fiber Artists, demonstrations, Blacksmithing, Petting Zoo, Marker sheep history, Pioneer/Sheepherder Camp display, Photography/Painting contest, Yarn Bombing, Self-Tour, Scavenger Hunt, Murals & Museums, City “Yard” Make Offer Sale in School along with the NEW Shaniko Toy & Game Museum, … various vendors, shops, food, and MORE.
