July 1, 6:11 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 800 block of West 2nd Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

July 1, 1:44 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 3200 block of Doane Road on a report of a grass fire. Upon arrival a slow moving grass fire with an area of 10 x 150 was discovered. The fire was extinguished and mopped up.

Personnel also responded to 11 calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported her wallet was stolen while shopping.

A hit and run report was taken Tuesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported his vehicle was backed into.

A fourth-degree assault report was taken Tuesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a male suspect choked her during an altercation; the incident is under investigation.

An agency assist report was taken Tuesday afternoon after assisting Medford Police with an interview.

Timothy Matthew Mears, 36, 412 West 9th St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the police station and is accused of 11 counts of violation of a stalking order.

An assault report was taken Tuesday afternoon at the police station, the location of the crime was not disclosed by the department.

Aaron Matthew Hightower, 35, Hood River, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 2700 block of West 7th Street and is accused of first-degree burglary, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, two counts of disorderly conduct, and probation violation. Ashley Marie Oedell, 20, 2700 West 7th St. No. 24, was also arrested and is accused of first-degree burglary, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

A violation of a restraining order report was taken Tuesday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a male suspect was seen following her; the incident is under investigation.

James Earl Mulvaney, 20, 1106 Emerson St. No. 3, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 3600 block of West 8th Street and is accused of three counts of probation violation and unlawful possession of heroin.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the juvenile detention facility Tuesday evening after a juvenile male in custody fled the area while doing his assigned duty. He was located later in the evening in the 1200 block of West 6th Street. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for no operator’s license during a traffic stop Tuesday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 82; the vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Elizabeth Virginia Labonte, 23, 2308 East 12th St., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Timothy Walter Ballowe, 45, 2510 West 2nd St. No. 7, was jailed Tuesday after turning himself in on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.
