The Dalles City

July 2, 12:19 p.m. – Single vehicle versus parked vehicle, injury crash, 1700 block of Mt. Hood Street. Female driver was transported to the hospital for injuries. She was also cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured. A report was taken and the vehicle was towed.

July 2, 1:56 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1400 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

July 2, 6:24 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1100 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

July 2, 9:46 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1200 block of West 10th Street on a report of a fire alarm started from a pull station. Upon arrival contact was made with staff said a resident had accidently pulled the alarm.

Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

Aaron Marc Mortiz, 22, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of harassment.

A second-degree child neglect report was taken Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a caller reported observing young children nearly hanging out of a window yelling for their mother. Contact was made with the father who would not allow officers in the home. The incident is under investigation.

An assault report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the police station after a woman stated a manassaulted her at a location undisclosed by the department. The incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported her cell phone was stolen.

Anthony Brack Griffin, 52, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal mischief and harassment.

A theft report was taken Wednesday evening from the 2600 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a theft earlier in the day documented by video surveillance. The juvenile male suspect was located later in the evening, cited and released for third-degree theft, the merchandise was returned.

Preston Leigh Allen, 21, 3564 East 2nd St. No. 28, was arrested Wednesday evening at East 5th and Union streets and is accused of third-degree theft and violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Police responded to the 3600 block of West 6th Street Wednesday evening after a victim reported his cell phone was stolen earlier in the day by another employee. Contact was made with both parties and the suspect admitted to stealing the phone. He was cited and released for second-degree theft.

A theft report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported her wallet was stolen while she was shopping; the incident is under investigation.

A theft report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1700 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported her cell phone was stolen.

A stolen vehicle report was taken early Thursday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

Wasco County

Samuel Karl Sichtau Bishop, 36, 3408 W. 8th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Washington Street on a circuit court warrant for two counts of parole violation.

An informational report was taken Wednesday afternoon after assisting child protective services with an investigation of child abuse in Wamic.

William Lionel Neary IV, 23, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Maupin and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault and probation violation.

A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the sheriff’s office after a victim reported a theft occurred in the county at a location undisclosed by the department.

Amber Renee Whitefoot, 26, 906 E. 13th St., was arrested early Thursday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 85 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended, and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Wednesday evening in the 3300 block of Bret Clodfelter Way. The vehicle was towed.

Regional Jail

Brent Lee Waldorf, 23, Madras, was transported by Jefferson County and jailed Wednesday where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving and driving while suspended.

Lindsey Dawn Powell Teneyck, 21, Hermiston, was jailed Wednesday after turning herself in on a Gilliam County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Jennifer Lea Jones, 34, 1529 East 12th St., was transported by Klickitat County and jailed Wednesday where she was arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.
