Only three days left to vote!! Let's blow it out of the water and show them The Dalles and its pets NEED this dog park! : Bark loud and OFTEN by visiting: or through Face Book at: That’s right, you can vote twice a day. Every day! Voting ends June 7th!

The dogs in The Dalles have long dreamed of wide open spaces and a place to call their own? So, Jennifer Botts, long time District employee nominated The Dalles in PetSafe’s 2014 Bark for Your Park contest.

"As current board member of the Northern Wasco County Parks & Recreation District and as Former Mayor of City of The Dalles, Oregon, I'm in full support of the this long-awaited space for a community dog park. Incorporating a dog park for the many dog-loving populous is what puppy dreams are made of and will add amazing value to the quality of life in our community.” Nikki Lesich

The Board of Directors for Northern Wasco County Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce their support of this venture and have dedicated a portion of land on the east side of the 14th Street Reservoir property, for this project. The Board and Staff are committed to the success and continued maintenance of this park.
